well my friends i found i way to close this sport app.
when you connect phone using usb it ask for which mode........
1)media layer
2)pc suit
3)data transfer
choose data transfer and then phone will be in offline mode and it will close all app. then just remove the cable and phone will be in online mode and sport app is closed...........
i mean to say that.....any how go to offline mode then come back in online mode through cable......when your phone in offline mode it close all app.

get Best TaskMan from this forum. its available in OS 9.1 Apps section, or use search button.
this program allows u to view and close some unwanted apps running in the background. dont know if ur sports app can be closed or not. so do give it a try!

sorry but u re going for a big disapointment with this phone...
lets begin .i bought 5500 august the sport function cant switch off, every time u use the phone even for basic functions u ll see the phone memory getting smaller and there is nothing to fix that, and finally after two months of having this phone the keyboard fell off!!
thats right a sports phone with the keys only glued in place, memory dissapearing and sport function always on.so...
do what i did .get rid of it.i dont believe that nokia has ever made another phone with so many problems
