Thanks derek, works, but yes the crack to that game is a mystery, I decided just to stop being lazy and find an iso of the game. THe problem is if you use trymedia's install, using a retail expansion disc it won't pick up the sacred plus installation.

that isn't a trymedia server, thus converting it to a working trymedia link is impossible. don't mistake every directlink for a trymedia one.

In Stalker, open the propieties tab of the ejecutable icon ...
i dont remember the name, but its the one with the radioactivity
icon...
In the "destination" box, you have to add this line -noprefetch in the
end of the sentence... that worked for me... if you have any doubt
you can google for it... i founded it, in the official Stalker Forum...

I tried the NeoKwinto program for Dawn of War: Soulstorm, however the program will not pick up Soulstorm in the search.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make it work, or a crack or alternative cracking program for the Trymedia game???

No, the universal extractor doesnt work with the .exe file (thats what i know. Plus the .exe file contains the trymedia protection encryptor, so better to just leave that particular file!!). U gotta do it only with data.001 file, it will extract the data from the other data packs automatically.

you can use neokwinto. delete all entires with actimark protection. then this one should be resetted

Hey man i think its better if u wait for the proper trymedia crack for Dawn of War Soulstorm. The Universal Extractor method doesnt work for all the trymedia game (so as it seems). As i stated before i dont think that the Universal Extarctor works with .exe files (still not sure abt that, better try asking the experts like yener90 and co.). I mean for instance i tried the extracting the data from Gears Of War and Assassin's Creed, via Universal Extractor, and it worked, whereas when i tried extracting the data from Deus Ex 2 : Invisible War, it didnt work. The .exe files of Gears Of War and Assassin's Creed were extremely small (like around 3-4mb max), suggesting that there were no valuable data (which would affect the game) contained in them whereas the Deus Ex 2 .exe file was around 1.8GB. thus suggesting huge amount of data there. So... ya dont think u can get around your problem untill and unless a proper crack is made. Sorry man!!

You must have downloaded the Official eGuide because Mass Effect is not on the offerd games list of trygames. Try search it, and you 'll see. I don't know what you downloaded! :oops2:

free up about 15~20 gb on that drive with masseffect trymedia files and that would do the trick as the extracted files would occupy 7.19gb and later installation on that drive requires about 10gb.

Dude, the mass effect.exe file that u downloaded is small right (around 3-4mn)?? And the rest of the data packs (like data.001, data.002, etc.) are around 1.8 GB right?? Then i think u can extract the installation files from those data packs using the Universal Extractor (Winrar is not gonna work). Try looking up the software. Its free. Extract the installation files from the data packs and then install. u dont require the .exe file that u downloaded (but just in case dont delete till the extraction is completed). Hope this helps!!

i think winrar cant extract all the files.
actually trymedia has compressed the mass effect dvd files and made them into these files
MassEffect.Data.001
MassEffect.Data.002
MassEffect.Data.003
MassEffect.Data.004
so, MassEffect.exe is just like an extractor for these 7z compressed files, so at the most u can open MassEffect.Data.001 with winrar but can't open the other 3 files
Don't rename these files, as it would show the same error(i made this mistake)

If the files first extract and then another setup starts then if you need a crack, try using the one for the Retail version. The same case was with Beowulf and with Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I have downloaded and installed the game Heroes of the Pacific (Trymedia version), with no problems. Crack works perfectly, the game starts, I can change things on the Options menu and save them... everything seems to be Ok. But after load a mission (any misson), instead the beggining of the mission apears a black window with a "Mission Failed" message and some weird mountains (the same mountais, no matter the mission) on the background! I mean... the mission dont even starts and I get mission failed!?!?! And it happens in all missions available!!!
I have the last drivers , minimun system configuration and everything else... and I dont know why this happens...
Any ideas?! Someone had this problem before?! :confused:

What is the trick to make valid adresses for the links?!
Till yesterday I could replace "http://IPadress/o=64/b=/r/release" with the DNS "http://d.trymedia.com/dd" and got a valid link but today this not works anymore... If I do that, I get a blank page with one single word: Forbidden.
Was my method just luck?! Whats is the real trick?!

It's like I said, just replace everything before the "/r/release" (including the "/r/release") on the link with "http://d.trymedia.com/dd" and the link works again. Well, used to work... most of the links get a "forbidden" message now...
Actually, the resuscitation method still works, but looks like the access to the files is blocked... I don't know what is happening

But there was some games that I could download. New ones or from popular gamehouses (Eidos, Capcom, Ubisfot...) dont allow accsess to the files, but old games and not so known ones are free...

You have to replace the IP adress on the link with a new one or replace everything before the "/release/" to "http://d.trymedia.com/dd".
If you have a link like this
http://64.92.235.126/o=64/r/release/capcom/60m_d_en/MegamanX8_en.exe
You can replace the "64.92.235.126" with a new IP (74.217.73.226, for example)
or erase all the part "http://64.92.235.126/o=64/r/release" and put an "http://d.trymedia.com/dd" instead (the new link will be "http://d.trymedia.com/dd/capcom/60m_d_en/MegamanX8_en.exe").
Try it and tell me the results (probably you will got an "forbidden" message...)

I found a solution for the "forbidden" problem... PROXY SERVERS!!!
I have got that message for any file .001, .002, .003, .00x... so I tried to use a german proxy server to conect... TA-DA! It works!
Just configure your browser to use a proxy from europe... and the links will never be forbidden again :D

Hitman Blood Money Setup dosent run when i click it i put all the other files (HitmanBloodMoney.7z and pc_eng.str) on my desktop with the setup and i clicked it and it didnt do anything i waited like..10 minutes and it still didnt open it should be faster than that i have 500gb HD could somebody help me please i really like the hitman series alot :D i have windows XP just so you know.Is it vista-only?or did i put the files in the wrong folder?

insatllation note: INITIALLY just download game whole game all five parts of the game and put them together in a folder . then don't install the game with the installer provided. just extract the part2 file GearsOfWar.Data.001 with the help of universal extracter . the whole will automatically istalled. so that there is no need to apply the and patch cfiles . if this is not working for you then . install the game with the help of installler and apply the cfiles and patch to your game .or you could just let the setup auto download all the 00x files for you but this takes an ultra long time :P

This is how we steal the original game hosted on the official TryMedia servers :D. So, there's no crack on that links. But despite the limited time, the trymedia games are always full (it's possible to finish a game during this time, for example).

Try this..... and try different settings.

A hack job that seems to work (not happy about it though).

Found out how to enable more config options from some site by editing the registry, to enable them, do the following:

Open up: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Crystal Dynamics/Tomb Raider: Legend

Add a DWORD key named: ExtendedDialog with a value of 1.

Now on your shortcut for trl, add -config at the end of the command.

The only option I changes I made were:

Uncheck the "Use 3.0 Shader Features"
Switched to 8x Anisotropic Filtering from 16x

What works

Installation (You have to start the setup.exe by terminal, otherwise theres an error. (Use original disc))

Gamestart (with NoDVD Patch)

Note: You have to start the game via terminal. If you start by double-klicking the tra.exe you get an error ("ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE")

By starting the game the screen slips down. Go to Options -> Display -> Change water effects. Now the screen looks good. Deaktivate special effects in Tomb Raider setup.

Thanks, I will give it a try. It is a shame nobody has found or created an actual working crack for the game yet. That forces us to try these "work-arounds".

EDIT/UPDATE: I tried the method on page 88 and it appeared to work (atleast for a while). The game loaded fine and I played through the first level with no problems. While playing the second level I DIED for the first time and when it tried to re-load the level the game crashed!!

I tried re-starting the game and loading from my last save and every time I do the game crashes again. I don't know if there is an actual error message in regards to the crash becuase the game gets stuck on the loading page. I hear the windows error beep in the background so I know some type of error is popping up on my desktop but I am unable to view it. I have to either reboot the machine or ctrl+alt+delete to close the game. Either way I never see the error message if one is given.

In theory, if you play through the whole game at once and never die then i assume this method would work. Otherwise it somehow causes the game-save structure to become unstable. Not sure why.

Have you or anyone else encountered a similar situation? Thanks again.

k then reinstall it and then do the solution again and make sure your version is 1.0 then play for an hour again until it auto exits(make sure to save when its about and try to predict when it will end on the clock before playing)then use this nocd and copy it over timeshift.exe in the timeshift game folder

Hey, 2 any1 who can't download some of the past trymedia games posted here for last couple months cos some of the game links like prey, Jade Empire:SE & etc. don't work for some people including me & here's the simple trick to make the link works!! I bet that some or majority of u know about this so just want to explain 2 guys who doesn't know yet!! :ashamed:

1. Find the desired trymedia game links that started with http://64.92.***.*** eg. ---> http://64.92.235.113/r/release/2kgame/60m_d_v13/PreySetup.exe

2. Then change the 1st part of the link (http://64.92.235.113) to (http://74.217.73.201) & it'll look like this --> (http://74.217.73.201/r/release/2kgame/60m_d_v13/PreySetup.exe)!!

3. Copy the mod. link 2 any d/l managers & enjoy the blazing speeds!! :excited:

Found this solution after desperate hours searching Prey cos past link of this game doesn't work then finally after searching for hours i noticed that the latest game link (mass effect, alpha prime, SOF:Payback & others) include in recent posts is slightly difference at the 1st part of the link like mentioned above!! So, that's how it goes!!

Hey duds Deactivemark & Trydeam softwares are only working on old games and not new version ones.

I tried both of them on:

1- Culp Innata.
2- Time Shift.
3- Tomb Raider Anniversary.
4- Shrek the third.

Many and many and the above-mentioned 2 softwares are fiasco.

I see, it is an Backdoor which puts itself into the Registry autorun. It also
copies itself to windows system32 directory under the name wuur.exe. At
Last it tries to connect to internet as fake "Windows Update".

Please remove the link, so no one gets "hurt" ;)

hey guys i got a problem i downloaded the assasin creed game but one of the download files is corrupted and i dont know which one is. i am on a 512kbps connection and dont want to download the whole thing again could someone help me out by posting the md5 hash of each of the files(if the game works on ur pc)

Put all 3 dat.00 files in the same directory and extract the file "Pes2008_dat.001" (with WinRar, 7Zip, UniversalExtractor...), so the other files will be extracted automatically. The real installer will be there.

first you go to the C:\Program Files\Eidos\Tomb Raider - Anniversary in the icon TRA change it to read only ( lecture seule)
seconde -- install the program then make a SCAN click OK after that you will have a list click in the group of programs with protection ActiveMARK then click in the Reset selected trials do that whenever you free hour expired thats' how i play tomb raider anniversary
