The topic of this thread is just what it says in the title - If anyone knows some online sources (articles, web pages...) about the methods of studying, please post them here. It would be a big help to me, since I'm doing a psychology paper on this topic. Thanks. :)

Hello. You are having an assignment on the methods of studying, i presume?

As you should know, Studying is not memorising, or shafting information in you head. It isn't understanding the principals either. It isn't show and tell when exam comes.

Studying is actually applying it to your everyday life. I'm sure you had physics when you are in high school? If you did, I hope you remember the principals of newton's law. Did you ever use it in your everyday life?

If the answer is yes, then the study you had is done correctly. Research on studying is impossible. As there are thousand ways to study. I hope it helps as all I did is define the meaning of Studying. If you need more help in detail, I would be pleased to help. Ask ahead

The reply is a bit late, but still thanks for the effort. Just in case there are people interested in this topic, I'll add what I've found about the methods of studying - psychology divides personalities into four types, according to the preferred methods of studying: the pragmatist, the theorist, the reflector (thinker) and the activist. Each of these personality types differs by what's easier for them to learn and the methods of studying/learning it.
I won't go into specifics now, but if anyone's interested, just ask and I'll explain each of these types.

If you are in college your school should have a searchable database of articles you can use for the topic. If not go to your library and the librarians should be able to help
