Sorry to sound dumb here, but could somebody please explain to me the installation procedure for these new USA Maps V6.65. Do I need to download all 15 rar files as well as this one

No, you should only have to download one or the other (i.e. 15 .rar files or one 1.4 GB file as the 15 .rar files unpack to the same size as the 1.4 gb file.

Are the usa and canada maps which are 900 mb, and able to fit on an sd card in this 2gb download torrent, just main roads, or does it have the side roads aswell

The keygen seems to be a bit hit & miss on the Tomtom One V2 units - works for some, but not for others. Try getting a small map first & see if you can get it activated. If you can then chances are that these maps should work for you.

sorry to sound ungrateful, but does anyone else have this on either megaupload or as a torrent
i have to keep waiting 2 hours in between the 9 different downloads i need to get the whole lot
so far i have only got 3 parts, still need another 6 parts, which is going to take me hours

Many thnaks for this - Do we know any details about this Map? ie I thought 660.1215 ws the latest from TomTom? , is this for PDA only? ie has the "speed limit" info etc stripped out?

Loaded and Tested on my TT One v2.

This does appear to be the VERY latest USA map.The reason I did not think it was,is that when I entered my product code for my 660.1215 Map,at their site , it told me I already had the latest map available!:lol: .Just goes to show how useful that feature is at their site.

The v665.1293 is sligtly smaller than 660.1215 , but i just checked with my friend who has the official update cd/dvd from Tomtom and he confirms that the v665.1293 you posted is EXACTLY the same version and file size as on the CD he just got from Tomtom..

Nice to know whats what...

Have searched threads and newest versions seem to vary. are these the newest?

at last, a post I can really help with! ;)

WRCGuy, it depends on what version of tomtom your TTOne is currently on. I will presume it is V5.x. You should use the 660.1219 version of the map.

BUT if you go to the tomtom website and download (for free) TomTom Home, you will be able to upgrade for free to v6 of the software. Then you can use any version of the maps.

There are 2 later versions I believe, 660.1223 and 660.1256.

I have a Tom Tom One with Software Version App 5.410. . I recently purchased Maps of USA and Canada V660.1215. When I put the SD Card into my Tom Tom I get a graphic of the SD card being ejected with a red X through it. ?.
Does anybody know how i can resolve this. I have connected my Tom Tom to Tom Tom Home and it tells me I have the latest updates for it ?

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated !

I bought the maps as a download from the Tom Tom Website. Once downloaded I put them onto an SD Card. I then connected my Tom Tom One to my PC and started Tom Tom Home. This then updated my Tom Tom with the latest software available. Then I disconnected the Tom Tom from the PC, switched off, inserted new card and then restarted.

When it restarted, I got the picture of the SD Card being ejected with the Red X through the middle of it. This is as far as I can get now.

Do you think it may be the software version on the Tom Tom that is causing the problem ?

Hi,
Currently I am using Tomtom version 6.1 and maps version 665. 1294, Is there any latest version available?
I am facing a problem that it does not speak the street/highway names. I have issues when it says that take exit on left and you see that on left you have three lanes going and each is a different exit. I am having little hard time with this. Is any other software or any other version of tomtom address this issue?
Please help me in this issue.

I've asked TomTom this question twice now, but their CS is useless.

Is there a way to check for specific updates without buying the map? There are many new roads in my area, and my 6.60 map doesn't show them. I'd hate to shell out $80 and still not have accurate maps.
