Ok here it will solve your problem: extract this file to your desktop. then go to the microsoft download site> download whatever you want> before you can download it will ask for validation choochoo> double click this "reg file" you just extracted and go on to your download> it will say you have a genuine product. the point is you can download anything from microsoft which requires validation after clicking this attached file. note that every time you want to download from microsoft's site that requires validation, you have to run the file before downloading...and even installing their products in your PC(i.e. WMP11, and IE7).

All i get in this is a '.bin' file ! How am i supposed to run the emulator? Or is it that we need Visual Studio 2005 to run the emulator ?

i downloaded both files, but it seems it need visual studio??? wat is that? can i just download visual basic?

ok guys! the solution is to use Windows CE 5.0 Emulator along with the required images (WM2003,WM2003SE or WM2005) freely available on the MS site ! The one whose link is provided here in this thread DOES NOT WORK without visual studio !
