Okay I have a problem. I m currently using N6600 and have around 400 messages currently stored on the MMC. I have to transfer these messages to my 9300. The problem is as follows.

Using my phone for over 2yrs now I know that if I need to copy my messages to another phone I can do the following:

1. Since messages are on the MMC just use the MMC on the new phone and select the memory card as the new device (all s60 devices can do this with MsvDriveE.. 6600 has this setting available by default).

2. If the messages are required on the phone memory of the new phone then.. change message memory to MMC.. Overwrite C:\System\Mail folder with the original Mail folder on my MMC making sure the index file is overwritten.. Then revert back the message memory to phone memory.

The 9300 cannot change it's message memory to memory card by default. Moreover it is a s80 device so MsvDriveE for s60 may not be supported on it.

I desperately need to transfer my messages to my communicator. For that I feel the need for either MsvDriveE for s80 or another software that can help me sync those messages.

Now the text that follows is a request for software developers for a new app that I think is necessary for us mobile phone users.
In case a software developer is reading this post then I have an idea for a new App that can sync the messages across different symbian platforms.
The idea I had is as follows:

Assuming that I need to transfer messages from 6600 (s60 device) to 9300 (s80 device).

1. The program should be available as a different version for different OS's (i.e. a seperate installer for s60 and s80) but these different versions should be intercompatible with each other for syncing messages via bluetooth.

2. A simple bluetooth sync using a Host-Client architecture might help. The phone from which the messages need to be copied becomes the Host and the target phone becomes the client.

3. The entire Mail folder is synced (even the Index file) with the target phone. Thus the program should prove as a one-stop solution for all the message copying needs (I wonder why no one has developed this app as yet).

Also regardless whether above App is made or not the MsvDriveE for 9300 is at a higher priority. I need an App which can move message memory of 9300 to memory card in any case (it helps for fast 'old-school' way of message copying).

If you guys know of other ways of transferring my messages to the 9300 plz let me know.. :)

cheaufo, that was roughly the equivalent of :

"Hey beautiful. Do you wanna go out with me?"
"Suuuure!"
"Great. I'm desperate for a smoke and I don't want to go alone."

Hey cheaufo you should've posted your query in the relevant thread and not here..

Anywayz use a bluetooth dongle for your PC (buy it if you don't have one) to transfer the games.. If you can't afford to buy it then borrow a friends phone which supports USB data transfer & has bluetooth.. Transfer the game files to your friends phone via USB & then use the bluetooth connection on his phone to transfer the files to your phone..
