Hi all, :o

i got one problem that really pain my brain.... let me describe that prob...

my office pc is in the LAN (wired) which the IP is set by the domain server. connection to the internet is over the proxy server, which have some limitation, hehh....

using the second LAN adapter (wireless) from my computer, i found the wireless available from unknown WiFi AP. so, i try to connect to the AP and it work! the IP also assigned by the AP. accessing the internet is more better. but to make it work, i need to disable my wired LAN and only enable the wireless LAN. this is unacceptable especially that my job need to dealing with internal database and LAN printer. if i try to enable both of the adapter, i found that intermittent internet connection problem thru wireless/wired and communication to the wired LAN also unavailable.

so, how to set my pc to access my local LAN for my job and printing over the wired LAN and at the same time surfing the internet over the wireless LAN? is the any software that i can use?

thanks

ALL you need is to reroute your browser request to the wireless ip. Try installing free proxy software and configure it for tunneling port by giving the wireless ip. If need more help give me more detials about the wireless ip and the wired ip of your connections. Are they static? Which type pf db you access in your LAN?

if you know the gateway IP (or if it is given via DHCP) then you are set to go.

@sqasi,

you may be on the same subnet on the wired and wireless lans. if you can set them to be on manual IP settings, that would offer you more flexibility.
