i have a problem with my laptop...when start-up it says " SMART failure predictedon hard disk"....i checked with BIOS to check for error and i went to C drive and check for error, but it passed 4 out of 5....How does this problem arise and how to resolve so that when start up it wont show this error.

its a bug..try to remove ur battery and wait for a wile ...than turn on ur lap again..works with me..

hmm..but i always take out my battery everytime i not using it...is iz bcoz its my hard disk is crashing soon???

no no...format must help but this battery trick is actually bios restarting trick..anyway...one more thing try to use Hirans boot cd!latest version is 8.7 maybe will help if not try to format ur HDD...if u still have probs after that i suggest u to give ur lap to some good service..good luck dude
