maybe there is something wrong with the game i would suggest if you take a look on system and see if your sound card has been detected and RkoHHH is right also check your bios.... or try to restore your system and see if the sound would come back...

firstly do what rko says and if all;s ok just try reinstalling the drivers and check if it works...

Hi Dont_Ask,what is your status of your problem Re:sound missing? After all guys had posted out the solution trying to help, what is your finding? Is it work?If ok,congrat u.I ever encountered this problem before, for my case was the audio missing whenever i play the movie, there was no voice & music!!!:vom:I just proceed to Program files, open the Sigma tel folder then search for the Setup files, double click it & follow the instruction steps to install it.It was successful. The audio came back.
Good luck to you. Please sharing among us when you settled the problem.:supz::finga:

This is too old and maybe Dont_Ask already solve his problem. If not, goto taskbar, click start, right click on My Computer then properties. Goto hardware then Device Manager. Goto sound, look for your sound card device (for example C-Media). Right click then uninstall.

After uninstalling, goto action (at the menu) then select Scan for hardware changes. It will reinstall your sound card driver automatically without the need of your CD driver.
