help me plzzzzz. any tell me plz that how can i store unlimited SMS in my sony ericsson w550. without using far manegar(flashing). is there any java application like message saver(symbian) in which i can store many sms. thanks

Strange, as your phone have 256 MB internal memory...Try to access your messages settings and change / increase the default value for saved messages OR vvv.olamelen.com for the latest version of the program (i forgot where i post it in UIQ apps thread :-( )

i thought all sony ericsson phones have limited storage space for smses?? LOls.

thanks for reply. but i already tried every things in last one month but no result. all sony ericsson phones have limited sms storage space around 190 text messages which is quite poor for me coz i am very crazy abt SMS.and about that application u told me at olamelen.com, its only for symbian phones..

My pleasure...I didn't know that "190 text messages" thing, i was thinking you can edit that inside settings...About olamelen, there are for UIQ also (check [Only registered and activated users can see links])...

pal it is not possible to store lot of messeges in w550i because in w550i the messeges actually get stored in SIM.. i hav also tried once but it isn't possible......

thanks mepetrut 4 reply, but, olamelen is SYMBIAN application works only sony ericsson p800 and p9** and nokia mobiles.my phone or other sony ericsson phones support only java applications. .jar files not .sis files...

yes i also have the same prob.my phone set is w550 i am sick and tired by the storage of me cell.only few messeges can be stored in my inbox.plzzzzzzzzz any one can help ussssssss?

same with me. the only thing i do is save my msg in the computer then transfer back again the msg into my phone but this time in the saved bookmarks of my memory sticks. By the way the msg should save in the notepad.

w550i as well as all other SE phones (P series and M series and W950i not inluded, since they use Symbian UIQ as their Operating System) can only have a very limited amount of sms... yep... around 190 sms...

there is a trick to max out the sms capacity for k750i and w800i...
i posted the tutorial in the "how to" section in ipmart-forum here...
do a search with "max out" as the keyword...

i've read that the trick works for k700i and z530i too... but never heard about w550i... so i dont recommend it...

so... the conclusion is... there's no java app that will solve this problem for u... java applications are a bit limited compared to those symbians apps...
