WarMonster for Wireless, in the tradition of WarCraft 3 and Ultima Online, is a scaled down Role Playing Game designed for mobile phones. Players are able to journey alone through large landscapes of many terrain types from open fields, towns and cities to dungeons. As game play progresses, players characters slowly become more experienced, stronger and are able to perform more actions such as repair weapons or cast magic, depending on what the player has practiced and learnt to do!

Players can manage a team of several creatures including Goblin Mage’s, Barbarian Fighters, Wil’O’Wisp’s, Fairies and Giant Trolls to name but a few. They can journey together and attack far stronger creatures than one character can face alone. Collect booty from expeditions and scripted quests which allows players to build up an inventory of gold, jewels, magic, powerful weapons and artefacts!!

A Goblin, venturing too far south is exploring and collecting the native flowers and herbs of his region. As the wind picks up he is reminded that he has probably travelled too far and time could have gotten away. Goblin drifts blissfully in his own world when amidst the cool calm a small sound interrupts his thoughts like an unwanted splash of cold water. The goblin looks back in the direction from which he has come. His breathing quickens as another sound is heard, a short way off. The goblin’s absent amble becomes a nervous scurry as he makes his way to a clearing. Peering over a bush the goblin sees a tall bearded man wearing a blue cloak lying on the ground, smoke rising from his injured body like steam off a boiling spring in winter

The goblin gingerly approaches the blue coat which has become dead still. As Goblin stretches to poke at the coat, the body rolls over. Goblin gasps and staggers backwards. The wizard’s eyes peer into the startled goblin like like rays of light seeking the depths of the deepest cavern. With his dying breath, the wizard drops a map by goblin’s foot and gasps a painful sentence. “Fire…and Stone…you must calm the eternally damned elements.….”

HINTS AND TIPS:
Hold Attack when fighting, run when you are weak or losing!
Kill everything on the first couple of levels, start by killing fairies and wisps until you go up a level. Move the + indicator to the first bar by pressing up (a couple of times!) then confirm and level up your health. Try and drink a health potion or eat some food after the level up and not before.
Try and keep some health potions and mana potions in store. Try and only use objects when your inventory is full.
Avoid running through levels as the later stages will be too difficult for a low level character. This also means you may miss out on spells that you need to complete the level or later levels also!
