I had this problem last month and has to send in back to Sony Ericsson to do a software upgrade.

try using their update service. Go to their site and download the update service program and you can do it on your own via online. It happened to my w810i and i've just upgraded it online. What's your phone anyway?

make sure u backup ur data before doing it...

guys guess wat k610i phone had no install function. eventhough u transfer jar file by bluetooth it state operation failed.. i tink u either have to wait for new version or sold tat hp away just like me...

this really sucks man! i last month there was no prob.. i think i really do have to fix it through the SE centres... and swap with a nokia hehehe.. ok man thanks for your advices.. reseting the fone didnt worked for me sir... it sucks big tym for me.. cuz im a game addict.. now, my fone is useless.. ok, more gigabytes to all of you rep for all!

which master reset did u do?
settings or all?
u should try master reset all...
and make sure u backup ur contacts, sms, data, etc before doing so...
