Okay, I made a reboot and then it opens but it says: "HardwareIDError"

I save all three rar files from johner on my desktop, then double-click on the first of them, then on setup.exe and I get the following message. What am I doing wrong??? Thxs...

You should copy everything to your sd card and run setup.exe from there.

i found this version isn't stable.

Tried the australian map, used for around 10 minutes, then it crashed.
happens all the time, max use time was 20 mins or so....:cry:

Thanks johner but what about maps?Ngi maps must be far better..any opinions?I think Destinator is the only solution for users who need full coverage of greek country and not only for Athens.If only we could use Ngi maps with I-Go or Tom ToM :)

I meant 2006.04
It can be seen from main screen/informations/maps.

I have some 2006.01 (e.g basemap 2006.01) and some 2006.04 (e.g Fyrom 2006.04). Greece is 2006.10

Anyone has found newer maps?

Johner i installed the files from the first post and everything run smoothly.
When i went out on the roads the screen stopped responding (freezed) while the voice guidance was running ok.
Have you heard anything similar to this or know how to fix the problem?

i installed it the your supposed to and it still says igo 2006... am i doing something wrong? i copied everything to a memory card and ran the installation thing. everything went smoothly so the only thing is that it still says igo 2006

I copied the new files to my old SD card ( I changed the old ones with the new ones). The old files are left on the card. When I put it into PPC, install it and when I start it I get the message: "Failed open file: title/loading. bmp exiting application"

I had this problem too. I think you must delete the directory with the old files. then uninstall and reinstall the program.

I put map of moscow on maps but I cant see it, it only show me the current map(Greek) which is connected with the gps(loox n560).
How can I see Russian(moscow) map, I searched all igo...

Maybe I`m doing something wrong but I have both maps(.fbl) on
\SD-MMCard\iGO\iGO SE 2007 01 11\iGO\MAPS and I see only one, I cant choose ... (program and maps are on sd)

Help plz. Do I have to extract ALL files in included zip files in order to install the application on my MIO P550?

If simply I try to run "setup.exe", I receive error message "Installation is aborted. Licence not found. Error code: 0021. More information hxxp://www.i-go.com

God, I hate those generic "read the whole wiki" answers! If you're willing to help, do it, if not, do not post at all.

I read the whole thread, and saw that there is a map of Eastern Europe and a map of Hunagry, but someone said that the first one is a demo. So I was asking is the HU map a demo too (or if the first one is not a demo at all). Simple YES/NO answer would even be ok.

At previous pages you'll find english.zip i v_english.zip files. Download them and put the first one into the Language subfolder of your iGO folder and v_eng you should copy to Voices subfolder. When you start iGO next time, you'll have a chance to change a language.

To sum up about demo/full maps..I saw a key for registering maps, so that's why I asked if all of the maps listed should be unlocked with this key. The problem is that I have a Mac and running that .exe file is a bit more work. If maps require unlocking I'd download them at work, on a PC computer, not at home :)

If there are two or more maps of the same country, do you only rely on their date to determine the newer one?

Ie. Hungary.11.06.fbl (21.11.2006 12:12:25 13790 KB) and HUNGARY_061006.fbl (05.11.2006 16:27:46 13516 KB).

I guess the first one is newer (I guide myself with the datw and the size of a map).

Mine is working fine on HTC p3300. The only thing that I do not like is that when I 'm not in navigation mode it zoom out too much on the map. I tried to zoom in but it zoom out again when I leave the magnifier button.

exactly how do you unrar those 3 parts of iGO and how do you transfer them into your pda?

Ok. Do the following. Extract the content from rar file part1 to your memory card. Then extract the content from rar file part2 and then do the same with the rar file part3. Maybe you will se the following warning : The file already exists. Do you want to replace? Select no. When you finish with this you will find a folder in storage card under the name iGO SE 2007 01 11. Open it and in there you will find the iGO setup. Run the setup and enjoy

Sorry man. I was talking about the Update. Not first time installation. I suggest you to download the stable version of IGO 2006 from here (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost...85&postcount=1) and then just do the update if your installation with instructions mentioned above from Global_moderator fails.

Download the full version of IGO2006 from Here (http://rapidshare.com/files/12819797/iGO2006setup.rar.html)
Unrar file and copy to your mobile all the contents (I suggest to storage card). Run from your mobile setup.exe
When installation finish unrar the update files mentioned in previews posts. (If you have not already download them, then you 're in trouble because links do not work anymore).
Unrar files and replace files in IGO installation folder.

You don't need the "New skin" for the program to work. You will find a lot of skins already in IGO2006 and more in update. If you need more you can easy find. You can also use MioMap skins.

It seems that while trying to update my Igo 2006 with the Plus update released this march I managed to bust my installation. :( Igo doesn't work anymore.

Can someone post a step-by-step procedure on how to install the Plus update onto an existing installation of Igo 2006?

Here's an explination of what I did in order to get the latest update...

Step by Step:

First: Search ipmart forum for iGO 2006 and whatever map you want.
Second: Install it on SD Card (run SETUP.EXE)
Third: Search this thread for the update. (rapidshare link)
Fourth: Download this cracked version of iGO 2006 Plus Update

Fifth: Install the update version you downloaded... If you run it, there should be an error of "Hardware ID..."
Sixth: In the cracked ZIP, replace the igo.exe on your installation folder with the cracked one...
Seven: It slhould be fine now...

It worked for me... Hope this helps everyone...

You can do it in two diferent ways:

You can replace the files and substitute the cracked igo.exe and start running the program...

Or you can replace the files, run setup.exe again and the replace the cracked igo.exe.

The diference: I think the second way replaces the icons (wich are better) and replaces the today plugin with iGO 2006 plus update"

I've tryed it the two ways and they worked.

I think they are the same, only the name changes. SE 2007 was suposed to be the new release (the beta on the first post). iGO 2006 Plus is an update iGO released this March.

Hello guys,
I have an MIO A701 and I instaled the IGO 2007 (beta) for EE .
Since that moment a lot of problems have apeared - date & time was ****ed up on my PDA.
Also after launching the IGO and finding an adress and starting the navigation - the image were freezing (but the voice was going on with guiding on the way). Also was impossible after an navigation to go out from IGO on the regullary way - the only way out were with soft reset.
I would be verry gratefully if somebody shared the same experience and got a solution for this.

thx for the advice - I installed the IGO 2006 PLUS. I read also about the update for this version & new skin. this is making an signifiant difference in how the IGO is looking or working. Did somebody else have reupload somewhere this update & skin ?

Progran runs fine until I try to find a destination then I get the Error "Cannot find path, maps are isolated" does anyone have a fix for this???? Are my maps in the wrong folder.

I was wondering if someone running vista (it works also with some versions of xp) could convert the Tomtom .ov2 speed zone files. The full instructions on how to convert the files are included in the OV2IGO folder. As i said, i would do this myself, but im running xp and as my system tries to convert the .ov2 files into a .txt file, it misses writing some of the data. Thanks for any help given

Try the stable version, not the beta one. As for the time, in IGO GPS settings, there is a Time Synchronization button on the upper right corner of the screen (if I 'm wrong someone correct me). If you press it then when IGO connects to sattelites changes your time to GMT. It screwed my time too at the beggining of using it. It' a setting that most of navigation programs has.

I'm a little confused about the versions running on HTC P3300. Is the first post version (Jonher) running O.K? If not can you upload the deleted igloblogo.rar file?
Any other comment?

I have installed iGO from the first page. Then i have updated it like freco wrote a couple of pages back. Now this is another update?? And if yes could please add some installation instructions? I have downloaded all the 3 files that freco provide in the quoted post. Should i just extract its content to the existing igo folder?

I have a problem from the day that I update my iGO 2006 to iGo 2006 plus the color profile stack to nigth color profile even I use automatic night colors even I do not use it the has nigth colors.

Also i go to settings / map and change the daylight color profile but the refuse to change the profile...

Hardware man.
Why don't you tell us the hardware that you use? Phone model, GPS (built in, external)? Do you have other navigation software working? GPS settings?

After installation I had the same msg: "Hardware ID error".
so I did soft reset and then everything was OK, except the problem with the color profile...

If you go SETTINGS-> GENERAL -> ALERTS -> ENABLE SAFETY CAMERAS and AUDIBLE WARNING -> WHEN APPROACHING ...
then you have sound alerts for speedcams.

Not only newer but 4 times more detailed than the previous one! In some areas is even more detailed than NGI's and is in Greek!!!!

I say that because in my area (Kaissariani) the previous map had too many mistakes.. For example roads without names or roads in which you cannot enter because of the forbbiden signs , which is the major problem of these softwares i suppose..:|

I will agree with you. Yes there are some places that I checked (for example Nemea (a village outside Korinthos), that has some street names, and Destinator's map has only the center of the village.

here at Naxos igo has the names of many roads in town much better from ngi maps but there are missing some main roads to go to places outside town

Well... it seems that the old fashioned Destinator6 finally found it 's way to retirement... LOL.
Now, Ace-Hellas has an agreement with NavNGo so I think that Destinator6 has no luck for Greece. Lets see what Destinator7 has to say.

The prob with all these navigation softwares is that when you set a destinator point , you almost always go there from roads you cannot actually go in real..(forbidden signs etc..):supz:

Well for Greece i was happy with Destinator, but i have to try iGO as well in order to have a more complete idea. Also the thread that Freco made above mentioning that Ace-Hellas has an agreement with NavGo also is a very goint which affects people using Navigation Systems at Greece.
