Nice find. Thank you. :)

App is working very nicely on N80ie and GPS is working correctly.
Maps are from TeleAtlas and they are downloaded over the air.

.jad not works even if one changes phone type to anything else before downloading.

Hey people, it wasn't easy, finally I downloaded it for n73 and e60/n80. :D

Didn't try it yet, please try and refer if they work.

Cheers

N80 version short test completed :) Works well in Hungary. Not bad, regarding it is free.
Very nice and intuitive interface. Nice graphics. Pretty quick in spite of being java.
First impression: seems better than Nav4All.

installed it on my E70 works perfect. Though, one might add that it does not have maps to all countries. Alotta europe, but not all of it. Also, no israel on the map (which was what I was looking for).
thanks

Excuse my ignorant but are all those program regarding navigation need to have a navigation device. Or you do not need anything else, only N73 and the program and it will work......thanks

Well, as long as you use software plus your phone, you''ll only use it as a map. In order for the application to know where you are, you'll need a GPS device that works wirelessly with the phone.
Does that make things a little bit clearer?

How to save on data usage with amAze

As an off-board solution amAze gets the maps and other search results in real-time from the amAze main server over the internet. It means that your mobile phone should have access to the internet. Make sure that your contract with your operator also enables you to send and receive data over GPRS (2.5G) or UMTS (3G). If your operator enables it, the best is to have a flat-rate data plan. This way you'll pay your operator a fixed monthly fee and be able to consume a fairly large data bank. It is good not only for amAze but for any other use of your mobile internet. If data applications and internet surfing are important for you, this is the most beneficial option.
But even if your operator is charging you per actual Kbytes used, you can still use amAze in an economical way that will reduce the amount of data you'll consume while still giving you the great benefits of free-navigation.
Economy mode
If you want to limit the amount of data consumed during navigation, you should use the default arrows mode. In this mode only the calculated route is sent to the phone. It is typically only up to 10 – 20 Kbytes of data for in-city routes. Once the route is stored in the phone and as long as you are on-track, you do not need to have data communication with the network. The local software will use this info to guide you with voice and arrows all the way to your destination. It is definitely the cheapest navigation system worldwide.
Full moving maps mode
This mode gives you the benefit of navigating over high resolution maps or aerial photos. It requires to stream maps over to your phone, which involves data communication. The amount of data is dependent on the zoom level you use. We advise you to use this mode only when you really need to view the route on a map, such as in complex intersections. It is really unnecessary to use the map mode when you are driving on a highway. Obviously, if you have a flat rate data package contract with your mobile operator you can use the maps mode as much as you like, as it will make no difference to your monthly bill.
