N73 font changed [Archive]

i changed the font of my n73. Just create directory e:/resource/fonts and change names of fonts [ANOSNR60.TTF, ANSSB60.TTF, ANSTSB60.TTF]

or just instal that font to memory card and restart mobile phone.

Btw how to view those hidden files or folders in Mass Storage mode? I can't seem to find the fonts folder anywhere in the memory card:oops:

just instal that file.!!!!!

1 send the instal to phone, {file on attachmen}
2 instal application in memory card
3 restart phone

if u want to use other fonts:
do the same, delete all data from fonts folder put fonts witch you want, rename to this filenames! [ANOSNR60.TTF, ANSSB60.TTF, ANSTSB60.TTF] don`t forget to put later "A" in front!
tested and working as you seeing in screenshots.

it`s a RAR file! you need unrar it and than copy to mobile phone directory. AND that file is .sis for 9.1 file!

what i do wrong?? i created 'fonts' in resource, installed n73 benzas fonts into phone, in file 'fonts' i changed all first 'a' to 'A' and it doesnt work :/ i restarted phone many times, i changed language to english and it wont work any way... what should i do??
you don't have to ceate folders etc.
Follow this:
delete everything in E(memorycard):resource/fonts/
then install the .sis file into your memorycard, not the phonememory. Restart your phone..

FSP you need to use memory card reader... only from computer you can create, paste, and edit this(hidden) folders :)

But i still need to find my original fonts to delete it right? Can 2 resouce/fonts folder exist together? Since my original resoure/fonts folder is hidden somewhere in the memorycard, if i creat anothe 1, won't it crash?

#FSP, Use y-browser. Under option - extra - setting, set to show all files. It will show your hidden files/folder. If its not there, it meant your font folder is not there. But I suggest you take out the memory card and use card reader to browse it, not data cable to your phone. Then you can create font folder.

Yes under y browser, i can find it under Z: rosource/fonts. Inside the folder there is 3 files namely S60SC.ccc, S60TCHK.ccc & S60ZDIGI.ttf. But using y browser, how do i remove these 3 files & paste the new font files to this folder?

on ur card. plug your card in to card reader then delete all in e:\rosource\fonts directory. where did u install the app? in phone memory?
if u did that i think u have to format ur phone :(. i have no idea except type *#7370# to make ur phone normal. any other idea?

EXTRACT SIS FILES WITH UNSIS V2.5. SEARCH THIS SOFTWARE.
FIND DIRECTORY RESOURCE AT C:\UNSIS\TEMP & COPY TO MMC ROOT DIRECTORY
RESTART UR PHONE. SORRY NO PICT BUT I SWEAR IT WORKS ON MY N73

NO WAY you dont even use your Phone memory!!! After pasting the fonts in the E:\resource\fonts\ folder you restart your phone! it will change! IF NOT!!!

rename the font files with small letter not capital letter but exact name!! and restart.

WHEN I OPEN TASKMAN (OPENED FILES) , I CAN SEE BOTH THE FONTS INSTALLED ON THE PHONE MEM , AND ON THE MEMORY CARD, FOR SOME REASON THE PHONE IS NOT SELECTING THE FONTS ON THE MEMORY CARD AS OPENED .CAPITALS DO NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Hey! could someone please help me out, there's a small problem.. i happ to install the fonts to my C: drive or the phone memory and now i cant seem to remove it or rename it or even replace it!! after trying all options i even tried keying in *#7370# but to no avail cos the font is still there.. would somebody have any suggestions?!

Ps:- there was an old app before for s60 v.1 called "Font Remover" would anyone have something like that for s60v.3??

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I can share the steps, how i changed my fonts in N73.
1. Go to your Z:\resource\Fonts\ drive by using Y-browser or any file manager, you can find fonts file like nonsnr60.ttf, nssb60.ttf, nstsb60.ttf.
It may differ in ur phone, but make sure you copy the name shown in that drive should be the of your new fonts.
2. Go to E\RESOURCE\fonts\ and paste the new fonts in this folder and delete all the old one. If you dont have any folder create manually.
3. Restart your phone then you could see the font changed.
I am attaching the fonts and you can use them.
If you have any prob let me know i can very well help you.

1. Go to your Z:\resource\Fonts\ drive by using Y-browser or any file manager, you can find fonts file like nonsnr60.ttf, nssb60.ttf, nstsb60.ttf.

Bro, U are right. After much trial and error, I have managed to do it. Muruganj method is perfect, just that those of us that cannot change just have different fonts extention.

I've updated my normal n73 to n73 Internet Edition...
And I found out that the fonts were really suck...
It is bigger than the normal one...

Can anyone do that for me...?
