unzip,transfer file name "_swfc_reg.exe" to device main memory and then run it.Wait till the message pop up "reboot" then click ok and it will automatically reboot the device.Do not manually reboot

When i tried running the patch, it said wait for reboot, but it didnt. Instead they showed an error dialog tt said something like "sorry we not able". It won't accept my key too... stating that it is for CDROM... am i missing smth here? =(

Tried in HTC touch, application works fine, but registration patch does not work! always keeps saying 3 days trial. After reboot couldn't see networks anymore. Tried to uninstall, did not uninstall properly. Now I keep getting errors on startup.

This is a FANTASTIC application, but I've got one **MAJOR** problem with it that has forced me to uninstall it.

I'm using a Dell Axim X50v (WM2003SE w/ Dell A05 ROM) -- if I power my PDA off with EITHER WiFi *OR* Bluetooth turned on -- my device powers off, but my WiFi/BT *STAYS ON*!!

I've got a handful of crap installed, and it took me a while to figure out what was causing my batter to die everytime that my PDA was powered down.

It was WiFi Comapnion. I've tried older versions as well -- same problem. It will NOT turn off WiFi (I can't figure out WHY it has ANYthing to do with Bluetooth, though...) Soon as I uninstalled this program, my battery quit dying after turning my device OFF.

Except for that one issue (even though it is a BIG issue) -- I love this program. When I power off (and yes, I know that it isn't a TRUE "off", but more or less a "sleep" mode) -- I want my device OFF.

Got the exact same, my PDA doesnt like those reg files, tride two different setup files of the 2.10.4 and one of the 2.10.3 version, all with no luck, patch doesnt reboot PDA just gives a error and on entering the pass it returns it's a cd key..

Im running WM6.1 on a HTC wizard, i tride "Wi-Fi Companion V2.9.3.0", that gave me the first error free (registerd) install:
