I have installed it and it is working fine on my Nokia N73 paired with a Holux GPS Slim 236 receiver. I installed "TomTom.Mobile.v6.01.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Cracked-BiNPDA" which can be found on this forum.
It also works on a Nokia N80.
hatchy 13th February 2007, 07:12 Does anyone know if the upgraded Australian map is available for version 5.2 yet.
robpcs 14th February 2007, 23:30 Hey Folks,
I'm in Aus and I have Tom Tom 6.010 running on my E60 device, with version 650.1114 of the Australia Map.
Is anyone able to tell me whether this is the latest version of the map?
Or is the version attached here more recent?
Thanks,
Rob

Map versions above 645 will not work on mobile/navigator_5.
Except for V660_1223_maps.

For one more time I'm not really happy with this version of the Aussie maps from TomTom.
I've used it a couple of times since last week that I installed it and it takes me to roads which now are closed off or are one way etc :x
Any other comments on this?
Does anyone have the latest speed camera alerts for Australia?
A friend posted something about this but I tried it and it doesn't have cameras which are installed for over 6 months....:(
kanga7 19th April 2007, 08:47 i have map of australia but with russian voice would like to know how i can get a english speaking voice on my tom tom navigation system 6 and if i can also redlight camera and speed camera updates thanks
sed8ed 20th April 2007, 07:28 Just thought I would add this little snippett of info.
I have been getting a lot of my POI info from this site.
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
A lot of it is quite up to date and there's stacks of POI's from westfields to bunnings and all updated fixed camera info..Seems to be put together by public users..NICE. Tracked beautifully all the way to Wombeyan caves and goulburn with POI's..helps to know where to find a placeto get fuel and a beverage...
I would also like to know what the latest map for TT6 is for Australia..Mine's getting a bit old as I went through Canberra recently and a lot of their roads have been updated and Tom Tom got lost of five occasions.....It also had some trouble in the Richmond area of Sydney....Some updtaed freeway stuff would have been nice.....
robpowell 20th April 2007, 14:37 sed8ed, AFAIK the latest map is 650.1114_Australia
The FD 24th April 2007, 22:47 Excuse my ignorance - but i have downloaded the map for Australia. How do I activate it? Am I missing something....? On my machine it asks for an activation code what should I enter here? Please reply!

csimpson 10th May 2007, 13:27 Sorry to be a pain, but what are the latest Aussie maps? I've got Tomtom 5.2.
Edit: I know that 650 and upwards won't work with TT5. Does anyone know where I can get an earlier version than them, that's more recent than 568? Sorry for the odd request.
hatchy 12th May 2007, 04:25 568 is the latest version for TT5 as far as I know

Russell1 8th June 2007, 12:29 Have a look here for the map -
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Use Winrar to 'un-rar' the files - you'll find that on google.
Torrent is another way of downloading files, but there are links for rapidshare & megaupload on that link, so you don't need the torrent.
sajid_arif 8th June 2007, 16:07 i would like to thank russel for his kind and genorous help.I really appreciate it.As i am new to this site.Once again russel thank you mate. You Beauty

Do not replace the files - delete the old map folder then add the new map folder.

Survive 4th October 2007, 16:33 Yes I know my brother has TomTom version 6 but his maps are old and he would like to update them to the latest version. We have the latest version of TomTom maps which is the 6.75 version for Australia. But the trouble is, we don't know where to put the TomTom v 6.75 file into.
We need to put it in some where on the memory stick but we don't know where. If someone could explain step by step where to put the maps coherently It'd be good.
Regards.
puca 5th October 2007, 11:28 easy to do just locate the folder called australia on the sd card remove it and replace it with the new folder make sure it is also called australia close it fire the unit up put in the activation code and you are done
Survive 5th October 2007, 16:07 What activation code? Everytime we update the maps does it require an activation code? Where can i get this?
Ford Falcon 22nd October 2007, 19:27 Guys . . I have got a Go910 and an ipaq hx2190 ppc running WM5 . . all running the latest Aussie V675 maps no probbs.
I have also managed to get hold of an older ipaq h3870 ppc running WM3. However I can't get the H3870 to run TomTom V6.0 with the V675 map. Does WM3 need the older version 5 of TomTom?
DeanOZ 18th December 2007, 09:09 Bump for Version 7
cristaras 18th December 2007, 13:11 I can't find that version yet though....it seems some people have unlocked some maps but where is the actual software and have they "fixed" the Aussie map yet??!?!?!

You don't need to go back to version 5. version 6 works ok on WM2003. you just need to use the WM2003 version instead of the WM5 version of TomTom 6.
davo123 30th January 2008, 15:22 having probs installing tomtom on my N73, says certificated out of date or something.? do:fart: you need to install it on the men card manually, used the nokia pc installer, not working with that?

grungysquash 26th April 2008, 03:13 I have had the same problem with the V675.1431 maps - have tried everything including reflashing the phone firmware to remove any and all traces of the install.
Seems my 650. maps work fine no problems at all but the 675 version stubbornly refuses to be found - rather annoying have 8gig memory card and an HTC HyTNII running WM6.1 which is a brilliant phone by the way - have tried 3 different versions of tom tom 6 from 6.000 to 6.032 and 6.2
Have got USA & Canada working fine, UK and IE roads (V675.1409), Singapore, HK and Ausi 650 but can't get the Ausi 675 version working - I hate being defeated - will redownload to make sure it's clean but I'm sure it's a clean file!!!
superduper 26th April 2008, 08:43 No probs with Aussie 6.75 on WIndows Mobile Handset here. Works a treat for me. Tested on *many* PDA phones.
TomTOM 6.010 - found this version to work the best for me.
in GPS setup choose NMEA GPS receiver, choose GPS port and set BAUD RATE to: 2400.
Also tried 6.030 and 6.032 (Kaiser version). No problems in recognising the Aussie 6.75 map. I have downloaded the map from torrent link that I have reported above.
>> have 8gig memory card
That's could be the reason. See if you can fit map files in device memory instead of storage card. You should be able to do so with your TyTNII.

Have found the torrent link and will download the torrent - the file I downloaded was from rapid share - this link is still up will heaps of 6.75 maps but I'm at my download limit for the month - lost my spare HDD (died a painful death - I knew I should have backed) up so have had to regather Alcohol 120, anyDVD etc etc etc
Don't seem to be many seeding this torrent - might be a slooooow wait.
OK - torrent down and it all worked fine - must be the rapid share file had a look through and two files were missing this must have been the cause for the issues.
So thanks much appreciated.:thanks:
superduper 6th May 2008, 17:28 Aistralian map v.7.20 is available on TomTom website. PLease share!

With all respect to what you are doing for this community you shouldn't blindly just jump on every single posting person here.
You do not know much of what I was/am doing for the scene otherwise you wouldn't be so harsh.. Who know , may be I was the one who had v.7 maps runing on my TomTOM weeks before you have discovered that "it is actually possible to have" and _Available_..... or Who knows where the first v.7 AU map came from?? And worked hard to help others to have this patching thingy at their disposal?? Right?
Be thoughtfull.. ok?

P.S. Just received confirmation that TomTom 7.x for Windows Mobile PDA Phones will be available in June 2008. I know people are wiating for this so I have decided to *share* this good news with forum. I am sharing. :)

superduper 6th May 2008, 18:53 No worries. I will have a good look for it. I remember seeing this raster Australian Map in one of the folders on my computer.. As of today, TomTom made available Aussie 7.20 map dwonloadable for GO x30.
It appears that map offered is still older 7.20.1838 map with NO ASR support.
I recon, it sucks big time: NO 8.x maps for Australia, NO current 7.x map with ASR support. :(
