Some mobile carriers will not allow you to download files directly to your phone. In this case you will have to transfer the application via your PC. How to call a number ?
The format is numbers only, country code and area code in the front, without any "0" prefix for the country code or area code.

For example, the format for a number in Melbourne, Australia (country code: 61, area code: 03) is 613 followed by the phone number. For a number in Beijing, China (country code: 86, area code: 010), the format is "8610" followed by the phone number. Most mobile numbers do not have an area code, in that case, just put in country code followed by the phone number.

Do I need to dial "011"?
No. Just the country code, area code, and phone number.

Can I call any number?
Yes. You can call to a mobile number or a regular phone number, anywhere in the world.

Can I call from any number?
Yes. The "Call From" number can be any number, including regular landlines. You can register up to 3 call back numbers that you use on a regular basis (eg, mobile, home, and office). This is a great way to save on roaming if you have different SIM cards in different countries while traveling or making long distance calls from your home phone.

For example, let's say you are traveling to London, UK, and have a local SIM card. Just entering in the UK number as a call-back number, and the service will work with the new SIM card. If you are at home and don't want to incur airtime charges, then set the call-back number to your landline and Tokiva will connect the call to your landline phone.

Make sure to set Tokiva number if you want to receive calls on one of the call-back numbers, see below.

How to set my Tokiva number ?
You can assign one of the call-back numbers to be your Tokiva number. The Tokiva number is the number that you want to be reached at when people call you on Tokiva.

How to call an email address?
Put in your contact's email address in the "To" field. Tokiva will connect you if you are in that user's Tokiva network. If your contact has not signed up, Tokiva will send out automatic invitation.

How about voice quality?
You'll be the judge. Tokiva has developed RTBP (real time bandwidth provisioning) technology to ensure quality of service (QoS) and salability.

Rates
International long distance calls made with Tokiva are typically at a significant discount to what are available from host carriers. Click here to find out.

Do I pay my local mobile carrier, if so, how much ?
Voice: The local voice minutes might apply from your local carrier if you are calling from a mobile phone.
Data : Regardless of the call length, Tokiva uses only less than 0.5 kilobytes of the data bandwidth for each call.

Service Coverage
Every country on Earth, except for North Korea.

Free Minutes
Each registered user receives free 100 Tokiva credits, which typically covers 15 minutes calling time. You can invite your friends to join Tokiva and will receive 50 free Tokiva credits for each friend who sign up.
