I've accidentally created an admin password to log on to windows xp. Now I forgot what password i've set. Is there any way to solve this problem??!! Please help~!

If u have any other limited accout then follow this:

1. Sign in to your limited account on Windows XP.

2. Select Start > Run, and type in, REGEDIT.

3. Next, open the following directory-
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

4. Then search for, "AutoAdminLogon." Right click, and modify, to change Value Data to, "1."

5. Finally, exit out, and you will automatically sign in as Administrator of your Home PC once you restart.

Another way is using hiren's boot cd to reset ur admin password. u can find it a pc app links section.

The access is provided UNTIL he is prompted to input the pass (admin or user). It's not about BIOS password procedure (when you don't have access AT ALL!)!

or you can use an VERY easy way without using any program :

1. login to your limited account
2. press win.logo + run (or start > run)
3. enter "cmd" without the quotes and press enter or ok
4. write in cmd : net user "username" "desired password"

for example , my username is killer , and I want to change my password to metallica ,
I should write : net user killer metallica
DONE
it worked well for me

you can also write in cmd :
net localgroup administrators "username" /add

so you can set you account to admin then do to the pc whatever you want
for eg. , my username is killer , and I want to set it as admin ,
I should write : net localgroup administrators killer /add
