Found this on Handango and it looks like someone has finally been able to get an app to speak text messages...


SMS Talk reads sms messages when they are delivered to your phone


[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Can't wait to try it ;)

I was hoping that too. Went to their website and it's under construction so no trial yet. Maybe soon. ;)

The E70 has a built-in Voice tool that can read the screen and all data, including messages, phonebooks, contacts, menus, notes, calenders and more. Its a synthetic voice, but the E50 has an insanely realistic voice engine.

So does the Nokia E65 I just bought, coolest thing in it is, it can say out the name of the person calling as listed in your phone book. Between the ring tones a voice comes up say the name and ring tone continues.

Its voice engine is really good and fast.
