well i was only able to create a network connection between my w950 and the pc via PAN but no internet...still experimenting though

Here's how it works on my UIQ2 phone. Maybe still works on UIQ3:
Install m-router 3.x on PC
config m-router, active all "additional ports" in "advanced settings"
connect phone and PC with Desktop Suite (whatever brand they usually comes with a desktop suite or something like that) via USB or Bluetooth
open your phone browser or whatever you want, enjoy surfing internet.

of course it's your PC that holds the internet connection.
Do as what I said and your phone should be able to share PC's connection.
Just install m-router 3.x (must be higher than 3.0) then connect your phone to Desktop Suite.
