Sniper - Chat, Messaging, FileSharing, BlueJacking, Social Networking over BlueTooth

Do you like chatting with people you don’t know? Do you want to be able easily share multimedia files with your friends? Do you hate the cost of MMS? Well now you can do it all via BlueTooth?

Find your target, take aim and let Sniper do the rest!

Using Sniper you can send/receive and reply to text messages from other BlueTooth equipped phones (including non Windows Mobile devices such as Nokias and Sony-Ericssons). Sniper also contains a BlueTooth scanner which will locate discoverable BlueTooth devices in your vicinity to start socializing with. Sniper will also allow you to transfer files between devices as well as messages. With just a few clicks you can designate folders (on the storage card if you wish) for Music, pictures or any kind of file. Sniper is skinnable and comes with a range of cool skins. More skins may be easily added. Sniper also includes a Bluejacking feature which means you can send files or messages to all devices within range at the same time. A useful feature for sending out Business cards at meetings! Since BlueTooth is short range 10-12 meters and does not use a Wireless carriers data network, all this messaging and data transfer is FREE.
Requirements: A Windows Mobile Phone (2003 or later) running the Compact Framework 1.0 and with the Microsoft BlueTooth stack

Update Description:
Sniper now includes a BACKGROUND Scanner to let you know when new devices come into range

You can now set your devices BlueTooth name directly from within Sniper. Great for anonymous BlueJacking or Messaging.

Aww... it doesn't work on my O2 XDA Exec..
I mean.. it installs fine, opens up fine, registers fine...

But it does not see any bluetooth devices! :(
It just says No bluetooth devices found as soon as I press Scan.

Yes of course.
Both my PC and XDA II are not seen.
Im running on WM6 Crossbow.. does it have anything to do with that?

EDIT: Figured it out. My Crossbow doesn't use the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack.

doesnt work on a 3600 either...
Same error... "No Bluetooth Devices Detected"

EDIT: i think we need to have Compact Framework 1.0 installed, right?
EDIT2: NO ! Its not this...

After the installation on the PPC, it asked for netcf.core.ppc3.arm.cab to be installed before running the application.
What the heck is this ?

EDIT3: found the cab.. Installing it now...
EDIT4: the apps doesnt start at all any more...

I did notice that netcf.core.ppc3.arm.cab message, but I just ignored it since I was assuming that the my Crossbow ROM already had Compact Framework. But installing it still doesn't work for you then I guess this app is just not meant for us. :(

I got the same message my friend and I don't know what to do or where to look. Btw, is there really a problem with the already installed apps on the phone, or is it this one that doesn't work, even though you installed the netcf.core.ppc3.arm.cab. Art_ful, Johner, any ideas-suggestions?:?

Bluetooth stacks are built-into the ROM. You can't just install it.
