Can't test this out, so if anyone tries it let us know how you get on with it.

Application: TomTom Navigator 6.030 build 8320
Requirement : Windows Mobile 2003/2003SE, 2005

Extract zip - you will then have a folder named TT6.03 - copy the contents of the folder to your memory card. This is only the application, you will need your own maps & the keygen.

Hi,
First post so be gentle :)
I have just installed this on my new Vodafone V1616 (WM6). Also known as the HTC Tytn II.
The program seems to work fine, although I do have a question.

I did not have any maps so I downloaded the UK 6.50 version and copied to the root of my storage card. TT still says "No maps found".

Can someone please tell me what I am missing and what I need to do in order to sort this?

Much appreciated.

You have to have directory on root of storage card, and inside that directory has to be all map files directly. No Subfolders. (sometimes when you unrar maps, you have 2 or 3 subfolders.)

If you have 2 storage card's there is ony one master, second is slave, and maps are only working from master. Try the other card.

My HP 4700 makes the first card I plug in the master and it stays master until I unplug BOTH cards, then In insert the other card first, and it become master.

That's all I can remember now.

p.s. Why don't you use UK_and_IE_plus_major_roads_of_WE 6.75.1409 map?

-------------------------------------------------------

I just remember!!!!!

TomTom 6.03 doesn't work with TomTom 6.03!
You have to get TomTom 6.032 (8351)!!!
hehe.
I uploaded the cracked version:
http://rapidshare.com/files/79800338/Tomy6032-WM6.zip.html
:egdance:

Read the manual, because I had problems with bluetooth until I deleted 2 files.

Best regards!

I only have one MicroSD card installed. I uncompressed all the files and placed them all in the root of the SD card but I still get the message.
The only reason I used this map was because I wasn't sure if the 6.75 map would work.

Everything looks to be in the right place but still having no luck.

Try software 6.032, like I edited in the post after you've read it.
TomTom 6 works with maps up to 6.75 for WE and America and 6.80 for Eastern Europe. Maps 7.xx works only with TomTom 7 software. Hopefully there will soon be available one for PDA's too.

Okay, clearly I need a complete idiots guide here.
I removed the application from my device and deleted all the directories. I looked for the two files you mention under windows and I don't seem to have them.

I downloaded your version of TT (the two files). I then copied them onto my storage card and ran the CAB file. It then installed TT and placed the application into Program files on the main phone. When I ran it, it said there were no maps.

I copied all the UK map files to the root of my storage card and performed a soft reset. TT still says no map found.

Please tell me what the ell I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

huh... that's a real problem.
Maybe you should try utting on your device map of GUAM or Canary islands. And put it directly to your phone AND t your memory card. If you do that, you should see 2 maps in TomTom. If you see only one, then maybe TomTom can't read your memory card.

I was prompted to download a free map of Edinburgh which I did. I have installed this onto the storage card and TT reads this no problem.
All I need to do is figure out how to get it to recognise that other maps exists.

Managed to get this to work by creating a directory called UK and placing all the files into the folder. TT now switches maps no problem.

Does 6.032 support full postcode search as I can only get it to search the first 4 characters. I then have to fill in a address. I have the latest postcode file placed in the same directory as the files in a directory called zip

Cheers.

Edit: Got it all working fine now. The postcode file must be on the root of my storage cards and not where the maps are. Thanks for all the help. Top forum.

Thanks man. Just finished downloading. I will post the results of the maps as soon as I figure out how to put it on my hw6515.

Btw - would you happen to know simply of a map for NY rather than the entire US?

Thanks
