Hi this is my first post .Great things here!

Problem:
i Instaled moby explorer (on my k310i) but stlill can`t see protected conttent like:
C:\sounds\Ringtones\Any one there.mp3 OR
C:\themes\Leaves...

My Q : How to delete those anoyng protected things from my phone
Or maybe to delete that shortcut in folders like "go to Sony Eericsson" i don`t need because...
I tried MyPhoneExplorer on my PC too.Same result- files in folders i can`t see.
What program to use (i do not have cable ,only IR adapter)

i had the same problem......... upgrade the phone software- it helped me

Did you mean "meny>settings>general>update service>search for update"
Is it safe?What if connection broke in the midle of dl?
Presume... everything ok ,then what? Are you able to delete those files now?

those files are hidden in a place called File System...
it's the whole phone memory. while those C:\ u can access with mobyexplorer and / or MyPhone Explorer is just a small part of the File System...
preinstalled stuffs like apps, games, ringtones, etc are NOT located in the accessible part, but they're hid in other directory of the phone's FS...
to access that part, u need an application which can break thru the phone's security scheme n let u browse the contents... in k750i / w800i we can use FAR Manager with SEFP (SE Flash Plugin) to access that part, and delete those nasty preinstalled files...
i dont know any app to access k310's File System...
maybe other can help...

hey....... well, I updated my software via computer, so........
but, reading your question again, I'm not sure we're thinking of the same thing....... I had some stuff on my phone which I put there, and wasn't able to delete after, because somehow they got locked......dunno how...... after the update they were still locked, but could be deleted...........

In M600i it is not possible to delete from the system folders in phone memory as they are protected files. So save anya new software or utilities in mem. stk before installing so that you can uninstall from
control panel-->others-->uninstall. ((Choose mem stick option next to phn mem while choosing from uninstall option. Try i think you will succeed
