enAlarmPPC v3.3.0 Multilanguage
by. end.net
Release date: March 24, 2007
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
A function rich MP3 alarm clock with multiple alarms, playlist, snooze and customizable interface. One highlight is the quiz which helps to avoid using the snooze too often.
The build in alarm clock of Windows Mobile lacks in functionality and usability.
That is where enAlarmPPC takes place. With this program you can set multiple alarms with their own playlist of MP3, WAVE, Windows Media or Midi files. An alarm can be set to start daily at a given time or periodicly at selected weekdays.
Particularly the snooze function of the build in alarm is extremly poorly. With enAlarmPPC the snooze delay can be set individually. With a simple tap on the screen the snooze function is activated and the playlist continues after the set time.
The ingenious quiz function prevents late riser from activating the snooze function too often while in doze. After a configurable amount of snooze activations the quiz starts. Now it is not possible to activate snooze again until a simple (but with times increasing difficulty) math calculation is solved . That way the brain needs to ,at least for short, work active and so the wake up process is initiated.
Further it was concidered that the sound files are faded in when played, so the user will not affright if a loud starting sound is played.
A title and a message can be entered for any alarm which is largely displayed on the screen when the alarm starts.
There are many more incredible functions, like the possibility to test an alarm, let the program automaticly enter the PIN code of the device on activation and forcing the volume to a specified value.
Available Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish
The program is compatible with Windows Mobile 2003SE, Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0. It also supports VGA, landscape and square displays.
The sharewareversion only allows to add alarms that are schedules during the next three minutes and a started alarm automaticly stops after five seconds.
Version History
v3.3.0: new functions:
Now compatible for Windows Mobile 6.
bug fix:
Problems with the summer time fixed (the day before the switch to the summer time, the time of the alarms has been calculated false and the alarms couldn't be deleted)
Program crashed with some versions of the Windows Media Player after closing the alarm and the edit dialog.
Regards,
Deepak.
