Ok, i've read the forums here, there and everywhere. I've been up and down the internet, and even contacted SE about this. I created a backup of my phone prior to updating for the first official update. Now i had a couple of important items in the backup that i really need to get to, otherwise i wouldn't care. I saw that backup manager had a "import" selection in the help file for backups created on different computers and figured i'd be able to recover this backup one way or another. Well such is not the case, i can't import the file, as the import function doesn't seem to be in the PC Suite release. And without all the original files coresponding to the backup, i can't make Backup manager see it as an original. I have heard you can extract the files like a .zip or .rar but in doing so, it says there encrypted and have a password. I have tried every password i know, even IEMI number for it. I am hoping maybe someone else has had this issue, or knows a work around, or something i can use to grab the files i need/import it into a backup manager/break the password or something. Someone please help!!!

Thanks

back up your phone on your new pc. then replace the files which are stored in the directories with thoses from your old pc, but keep the files names as the same as on your new pc. should do the trick.
