I am using BBCalls which is a free VoIP client for the BlackBerry. It plugs some commands into my BlackBerry's address book so I can call my contacts directly via VoIP.

Well, actually it is a Jajah frontend for the BlackBerry and therefor it just initates the call over the internet (data plan is a good idea). The rest of the call is made over the usual phone 'line'. The Jajah server first calls me, then calls the contact I wanna talk to and patch me through. The good thing is: as I am on an unlimited call incoming plan, I can phone for free to contacts in the states. Even to mobile numbers! :)

If you download / install the desktop manager it will have a "switch device" program. That works perfect.

There are a bunch of programs you can get from this website... they are OTA downloads so go to the site from your BB Browser...

I have the pearl and really like the push weather program... From the program menu it automatically updates the icon and displays sun/clouds/rain etc based on the city you set it to!

You can also download "Yahoo Go" from that site... I only use it for searching my email though. It is also nice if you use yahoo and want to sync your contacts with your yahoo account it will do it OTA. Its a good way to back up your data in case you loose your phone. You can access the feature from the settings menu (its kinda hidden).

There is some other stuff available from the link also... but I am not big on games so try them out for yourselves.

Another program I use is "Ramble IM" which is for AIM on the blackberry... I have tried a few of the other ones, but like it the best. Hi, I think this software is worth the money. I have paid for the license after 30 days and their licensing is quite fool-proof, hence I don't think you will be able to find a crack around.

I am with Telus Mobility in Canada and to change my browser to WAP, do this:

1) Open the browser

2) Click the blackberry button to display the menu, and go to Options

3) Select Browser Configuration

4) The first option should say Browser: Internet Browser
Change that setting to WAP Browser

Are you paying for an normal internet service through your provider? If you are contact your provider and ask them how to download the service books. There is a way to dwonload the service books, but I forgot. plus if you're not paying for an internet service, you may not be able to get the service books for internet. Call them.

you'll only be able to download the service books and use the internet if you're paying for the service. Otherwise you're out of luck. Even if I remembered how to download the service books, it wouldn't work for you if you're not paying for the service.

Here are 3 different styled themes that will make your blackberry pearl look like the Iphone. I said it was for the curve too but i am mistaken, i will find where i put that one. :sorry:

Has anyone else here heard of MiuTunes? Single best mp3 player for the blackberry I've found so far. Better than anything I've seen for the palm or ppc, as well.

It copies itunes' style of album cover flip thing, and has built in cover art search (alt-f and it downloads it, you don't have to go into a browser). Bunch of other features, too.

Anyway, I've only owned pocket pcs and palms, so I don't know where on the net, other than here, to look for cracks/keygens etc for the blackberry. Can anyone take a look for a crack for this awesome player for me? Google is being no help... Thanks!

No, can,t consider e61 as blackberry, so many differences between them, even with most nokia e6xx series,though nokia already provided those series with build in IM , auto email retriever, but then still different. With nokia everytime u want to make voice calls, the data connection will be paused(even gprs setting always online already), with bb u can go all the way without any pausing.with Bb for yahoo messaging svc, u get direct from yahoo, with nokia u have to install the apps for that. And some other differences.
