flurry brings all your email and news to your mobile phone.

flurry is...

1. Fast & Easy. flurry is an application you install on your phone that makes reading and composing email fast and easy to use.

2. Multiple email accounts on one phone. Between your ISP, webmail, etc. there are a lot of ways for people to email you. You can add all of them to your flurry account and access them in flurry on your phone.

3. Easily import your contacts. Import your contacts to your flurry account and then access them from your phone. You can then quickly and easily email or call anyone you know when you're on the go.

4. Read & share news, blogs & RSS feeds. You can sign up to get all your news, blogs and other RSS feeds pushed to flurry as they are released. Then you can easily share them with your friends while you're on the go.

5. Get emailed from your MySpace page. Put the flurry widget on your MySpace or other social networking page and your friends can send emails to flurry on your phone when they see that you're away.

6. Send pictures from your phone. On supported phones, you can easily take a photo in flurry and email it to all your contacts.

7. Text message notifications when you get new mail. On supported wireless providers, flurry can send you text message notifications when you get new mail. Get texted when specific friends email you!

8. Search your mail and news, on your phone. You can easily search your inbox with SimpleSearchTM. Just start typing what you are looking for, the same way you use T9, and flurry will find what you are looking for.

9. It's cheap. flurry itself is free! We also compress your messages and store them on the phone to reduce your internet plan costs. In a given month, we expect you to use about 1 megabyte of internet data with flurry and we recommend at least 5 megabyte plans for frequent users.

10. Lots more! Try it out today and see for yourself ...

How does it work?

flurry retrieves your email in the same way that you do - by logging into your email server and checking for new messages. When it finds new messages, it notifies you that you have mail waiting.

In retrieving your mail, flurry is even more secure than using a normal email client since your information is protected at every step of the process. See below for more details.

How do I install?

Sign up is fast and easy! Just sign up using this website and we'll send a Text Message to your phone with simple instructions on how to complete the process. In the instructions is a website that you load on your cell phone, which will automatically install the flurry software client onto your phone. As soon as it's done, you'll begin to receive your email on your phone.

It's as easy as that.

How does flurry get my email?

The entire process is outlined below:

Step 1:

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

The flurry server logs into your email account and checks for new messages.

Step 2:

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

New messages are downloaded to the flurry server, compressed and encrypted, to await delivery to your cell phone. If you have opted for notifications, a notification is sent to your phone.

Step 3:

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

When you open the client, new messages are encoded and sent to your phone

Reply: When you reply to a message, forward a message or compose a new message the above process proceeds in reverse - eventually sending the message from your email account the same way that your email client does.

Basically it's the same, they made the most changes to the server.
So use one of these versions.

i've installed both. your icon is really cool and cute but there's this settings option in the new version that allows to change the font size which is quite helpful. :) so if you can mod the new version, i'm it'll make a lot of peeps happy. :)

by the way, menokia and ioji versions both rock on N73! cheers!
