To chinkzsta: try to select on MSN mobiola web camera. This is how I made it work on yahoo mess. I had the same problem. Maybe it will work.

HI. Is any version of Webcam preferred over the other? Like is the USB version faster than the bluetooth version? I just have a hunch...

This is for all those who have this problem. A lot of times while installing apps we encounter this message: "cannot install, constrained by certificate". If you also get this message, do not worry, simply try installing the file again after 5/10/15/30 minutes (sometimes even hours or a day) and bingo, the same file works, like magic. I do not know the reason as to why it happens but it has happened with me on a few occasions.

If at first this method doesnt work, try installing the app with a file browser like Y-Browser (in case you had been using PC Suite earlier). It works! Just keep trying...you dont need to keep on signing the file again n again. Hope it helps ya.

since unsigned symbian app might become more and more in the future, i think you better try to do it on your own so you won't be dependent by other if a new unsigned app come out.

it is simple and easy to be done. it worth the effort. :)

i am not able to make this thing work on my N73!
here is what i do, 1st connect N73 to my PC using USB cable and select "PC suite" mode, then start the "Mobiola" PC application, then start the applcation on phone and select "connect" , after this the phone keeps on showing "connecting" but nothing happens!
there are 2 COM ports which have "USB" written after them, i have tried using both of them with the same result!

P.S. by the way i have found out that if i COM3(USB), the main screen of the software shows "NOT READY" but if i use COM4(USB) then the screen says READY, but still it doesnt show anything, what must be goin wrong?

U can't conect your phone as m0dem until u uninstll frm y0ur ph0ne and pc if u using this app

it works just fine on the N95, just change the com port it's using in the setting tab (on the windows application). I've changed it from COM10 (USB) to COM11 (USB).

You used the cert to sign the app...
But you need to register the app so that it is fully working...

Register the app with any key or there must be a keygen in the rar file...

The app doesn't have the "enter key" or "register" option on the menu !!!

This does not work, the application detects the incorrect IMEI # off the mobile and expires the registration.

i also had d same problem.. after 5mins it kept asking for serial according to our imei, so i hav to retype d serial over n over every 5mins but that's really annoying. in the end, i tried the bluetooth version and it worked perfectly, no serial asked at all. u guys shud try it.

this works fine on my n95-2.

i've signed the app and installed in my pc.
it connects and i can even use it in yahoo messenger.

however there's a bit of a problem..

the camera can't continuously record/broadast..
it seems like the camera is put on standby every 5-10 mins..

anybody knows how to deal with this?
