I just update my nokia updater. and it shows message that there is no way to update my nokia n73me to n73 or n73ie it just shows that my mobile phone has the latest firmware. I try with alot of product codes, none works. :/ I think this is the new Nokia Software Updater posibilites! version is v1.3.60en

I'm sure this is possible mate as I've read several threads about it. Try searching for it in this board 1st then the rest of the forum after that. You should fine full and working instructions ;)

Hmm.. According to some bros from the other thread abt this. You gotta wait for the N73/N73IE to release a new firmware then the nokia updater would download and reload ur 73me to the version u wants.. hope it helps. :D

Well the last firmware came out on Jan 23rd I think.
Its a possibility that there wont be anymore new firmware updates for N73.
I too have been trying to revert my firmware from N73ME to N73, but after 6 exhausting weeks, ive given up.
I tried Phoenix. I had problems upgrading from 2006 to 2007 patch, and the 2007 full version requires a dongle which I cannot find a patch for.
I managed to d/l an 80mb firmware for my phone (for phoenix: RM-133_APAC_3.0704.1.0.1_v5.0.rar), but it doesnt list my N73 model number: 0539407.

I installed a full version of phoenix 2007. It requires the dongle though. Do you have a patch for it?

I also tried upgrading 2006 with the 2007 patch. I dont need the dongle because I used the 2006 dongle patch before, but it still shows me im running version 2006.

Any help?

I get 2006 version installed fine. 2007 patch appears to work, but when I run phoenix it shows me version 2006 still.

I also have: phoenix_service_sw_2007_4_6_170.exe
but the dongle patch wont let me run it still.

Can you tell me the steps how to flash my N73 RM-133 APAC with Phoenix 2006.44.6.163?
I already used NSS to change my product number back from 0539343 to 0539407 (original N73 model number).

My N73 currently has N73ME firmware: V 3.0705.1.0.31 (26 jan 2007) RM-133 Nokia N73 (11)

i use nss to flash and it worked ..

if flash with phoenix, no need change the code with nss

now you should uninstall all nokia (phoenix, diego, pc suite, cable driver...)

normally i'll use Nokia_PC_Suite_Cleaner_3_5 clean again pc then restart

1.install Diego_3_09 and Diego_cr2 (crack)
if cant install mean you have cable driver in your pc

2.install phoenix_service_sw_2006_44_6_163

3.while install phoenix, install 1-crack_dongle_phoenix_all (DK2DRVS.isu, DK2WIN32.DLL, DK2WN95.386)

4.after install phoenix, install crack_dongle_phoenix_2006

now install N-73_RM-133_APAC_3.0704.1.0.1_v5.0.exe or N-73_RM-133_EMEA_3.0704.1.0.1_v5.0.exe

your n73 is apac so you can install apac data package

about the Phoenix Service Software 2007.04.0.1 Patch.exe i've try before, useless!!!




to flash n73, after connect dku-2 or ca-53 to phone with pc

open phoenix, click "scan product"

click on "flashing" then "firmware update"

select product code with "APAC1" (if you want same language with your current phone)

the click "start" to flash

*you need insert a valid sim card and select general mode for flashing
