But I have one question.
Where you must install sis file, on card or phone.
Where can I put new voices, because I can't find voice directory.
Where can I put maps? on root or in TomTom directory on memory card?

Thanks

Before you state false information, double check your installation first.

This version is indeed 6.020 (8300).

You can find version 6.02 here:

http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=152867

This is the same version as the one you posted but:

1. No need to sign it to install the program.
2. No map activation needed that this copy is fully cracked.

Both version work as intended however.

Ok!!!!!! so tomtom nav-6 works perfectly the problem and reason why you can't use the internal gps receiver is when you go to the configure menu the only options are for a tomtom or other bluetooth reciever.

Tomtom nav 6 for windows overs 4 different types of receiver one being other nmea wired receiver, and then by selecting the correct!! com_port tomtom software see!s it
So we all have to wait for tomtom or somebody!!! who can develop a fix/patch!! to incorporate these options to symbian nav_6.

Thanks :D

eRura

hamdiya, this version of TomTom (6.02) will work only on S60v3 phones. 6630 is S60v2 so you need other version - TomTom 5.

OK, In installed this version (v6.020), I previously had the v6.010 which worked perfectly in my N80IE.

This version also works, but it has an VERY annoying feature. When I start the application, it always asks to accept "Legal notice" (I agree selection using right soft menu key).

Then comes the "PLEASE NOTE:" -page (This application will make use of the following features of your phone etc... ). And in the end of the "page" comes "Show this information in future?". When I select NO, it finally starts the application, but it takes considerably longer to start than the previous version.

And when I stop the application and start it again, it asks these very same questions again :!:  . How to heck I get rid of this? Or is this a feature of this h a c k e d v.6.020?

I think I will go back to stable v.6.010 (stable at least in my N80ie), if this is a feature.

For those people with spinning globe on startup:

Make sure you extract the Tom Tom folder onto your memory card. Then install TT6.02. Upload a map onto your memory card so that is can open a map on startup...Done...

Hey Guys,

Does it function in your mobile's similar way than in my N80?

This startup thing is really annoying, and application takes quite a long to start after the final "NO" answer (or "YES" answer, it really does not matter, it always functions same way at startup).

Give me feedback, so I know whether this is a v.6.020 feature or something wrong in my N80 or application itself. I have the latest firmware installed.

Hi,
I've the same problem. I don't know where is the problem, but it is with cracked verion. If you'll use a version that ask to activate every map - you'll not get that stupid question.
BTW I had N80 there were everything OK but after nokia replaced with N80IE (N80 was defected) I got same "feature".
So two choices:
1. use not cracked but activate every map
2. use cracked and accept "special feature" ever time you start the program.

Maybe somebody has better solution? how to avoid this "feature"?

You can find version 6.02 here:

http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=152867

What you've posted there is not a complete version - it's just a SIS file containing all files posted by eRura (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=147749)
i've packed it myself into one unsigned SIS file because i had problems when installing it (manually) on my memory card.

NOTE: that version does NOT include some directories (Voices, Raster, etc.) so it can be used only if the previous version of TomTom (for example 6.01) is installed

The version posted here (i did not test it myself, just hope it works) seems to be complete (includes all neccessary directories) and signed for us by BinPDA team.

So let's say together THANK YOU BinPDA team!

I have downloaded this and maps for australia, and followed the instructions (I installed to card, then copied files from MMC folder and Maps to the card root). It doesn't work though! The tomtom logo loads, then it hangs there indefinitely - does this sound like a problem with the install, or the maps or....? My GPS reciever has just arrived and I am really keen to get it working! I have a E90 communicator test-device. First if done is to install tomtom. But it works only on the outside screen. On the bigger screen it shows tomtom twice on upper half of screen without colors. I am afraid it has problem with the high resolution of the screen. Already any ideas?

I think, that you have to wait for new version of TomTom (for E90).

Hi everyone, I've successfully installed TomTom on my E65 and N95, downloaded the Australia maps (v6.05) - however now I'm asked to activate the maps. Can anyone please lend a hand with how this is done?

I thought the www.ttcode.com website would assist, but gathering this is for those who have downloaded and paid for the product.

Hi there am i ment to to just paste the following files into my memory card ?

MMC (folder)
binpda (file)
AIVAnet (file)
file_id (file)
MMC.rar (file)
MMC.rar.filepart (file)
TomTom.Mobile.v6.02.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Cracked-BiNPDA.sis (file)

this is my first time im installing tomtom on my NOKIA N80
so i just pasted the following files listed above in my memory card (2GB)
in my "other folder"

im so comfused how to make it work:

*After pasting the files into a folder in my memory card, i went through my menu options and clicked on "file manager" to locate that folder i pasted. And so i found it, and saw it can only reconise the .sis file and so i installed it setting it to the memory card.

After that a tomtom symbol came up in my "own folder" and when i opened it, it just loads a white background with tomtom and its symbol and a globe with tomtom going around, what i assum is the intro screen?

and all it does it stays there, and nothing happens after that? no menu's or etc etc...

what have i done wrong.. please help me.

ps. is that all files i need to make it work? or do i have to add more files hence maps, voice, etc etc ? please help... i need a dummy guide :-(

Hey

You should put all files and also sis file direct on the memory card, not in the folders. Than you need to run sis file on the phone. I think if you open MMC folder you will see that there are voices inside (if they are not inside than they are in some other rar file, so open it and put direkt on the memory card).

If i saw corectly you have N80, so you will probably need to alow in the phone all application to be able to install.

Than you need to find a map you wish and put on the memory card also.
You should have next folders on the memory card (asmong others from phone):
- a map you wish
- itn
- raster
- tomtom
- voices
- zip

I hope i remember corectly, try it otherwise ask again.

Please double check where your voices files are (they can be either in the Voices or Tomtom directories on the card).

Please double check where your voices files are (they can be either in the Voices or Tomtom directories on the card).

if you read my post you will have seen that i had v6.01 running on my phone before so something as simple as where the voices are is not the problem, its more like registry issues i would say, but i thought i would post it to see if someone else might have an idea.

Yes it is not working with N95 internal GPS but it works fine with N95 + external GPS. I think it is much faster getting connected using external GPS.

There is a map in the forum, do a search for it. However it is not a detail map, only some main roads.

Works perfect for my Nokia N73 [Software v.4.0726.2.0.1 RM-133]
Map: North America v675.1409
But there was some problems...
After I start the software the time was displayed wrong, +4:46 !!!:partyman: What kind of time is that? I don't know...and the real time was 8:29. After checking all the options in Status Bar Preferences the time error was fixed, and then I set again only the options that I need: Curent Time, Street Name & Speed.
Now everything is fine.
I will do more tests in the next days to see how stable is the new software.

i did not set up U/P when i installed the apps, it work like a charm without configuring the setting, i have been using it for more than 2 months, suddenly the plus service (such as: traffic feature) requires U/P, which in the first place i did not know.
if i re-registered in the tomtom web, i can activate trial for plus features which is good for another month only, is the another way to avoid this?

For all who don't understand what and how to install this:

I did like this:

1. Download the TomTom application first.
1.1. Extract the folder.
1.2. Install the .sis file.
1.3. Extract MCC folder.
1.4. Copy the TomTom folder(in MCC folder) to Memory Card (E:\TomTom).

2. Download the map files.
2.1. Extract .part1.rar file and no more.
2.2. Copy all files in unzipped .part1. and create a new folder named Map on Memory Card where you but these files (E:\Map)

Then it should work. It does for me, and I got N73.
For me it does not working if i put the TomTom folder on C:\.

Cheers! :)

Hello,

I'm running TomTom v6.01 BiNPDA release on E61i.
The thing is, when I press the "j" key, it just inputs this character: ' (apostrophe). All other keys are working flawlessly.

The thing is, without that letter its almost impossible to enter names of cities or addresses. Its a really frustrating bug, and I'm wondering what could be wrong?

So, I'm wondering if somebody else is using TT Mobile on E61i with, or without that specific problem?

Thank you for your input!

Hey guys
I had this on my e65 2 weeks ago, and it was working fine. and now i got the n73, but for some reason, it is getting stuck on the startup screen where the globe spins.
now, after reading the whole thread, i relised that the reason behind this is because i may not be putting the files in the memory card right.
i just wanted to confirm, that when i unzip the 4 RAR files, i get a folder called (TomTom.Mobile.v6.02.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Cracked-BiNPDA) and in that, i get another folder called (bin-3548). now, in there, i get the instalation file, and the mmc RAR file, i unzip that, and i get a folder called mmc, with another folder inside it called tomtom, and inside that, all the files. i was wondering, do i copy the mmc folder into the card, or the tomtom folder inside the mmc folder into the card (without the mmc folder).
because im trying everything, and i still get the startup screen with the spinning globe.
help please!!!
thanx

Install file TomTom.Mobile.v6.02.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Cracked-BiNPDA to memory card, tomtom map just copy on memory card, becouse the voices are inside tomtom map.
If the globe still spin, probably you have old sofweare on you phone. push *#0000# if it is old version (below 4.XXXX it is old version) so you need to upgrade the SW of the phone.

Finally cracked version! Thanks a lot. Working excellent on Nokia N80 (4.0707.0.7) without map activation!

It is not run in E61, it indicates map not available while the TomTom folder copied to MemCard root dir.

Any successful experience with E61?
Thanks

Hi,

I install this application on N95 from my colegue and expirience some problems - the globe was spining around and TOM TOM doesn't work.
Than i install 6.01 application and overwriteed with 6.02 and 6.02 works OK without any problem.
Has anybody expirience such a problems? Is maybe the old softwear of phone a problem? How to avoid it?

After the spinned globe gone, a new page with "Select a map:" on the top left, clock on top right, "No maps found!" in the middle, "Select", double arrows and "Cancel" appear on the bottom from left to right.
What kind of map is required? & where to be located? i tried to convert some and copied them into directory "map", "maps" & root dir of SD but this page still appear.
anybody can help? or can send a simple map just for trial (before idownload the big one) ?
Thank you

You didn't reed the other posts. Please read it first. Put word tomtom in search and you will get a lot of information about Tom Tom.
You will download the maps you like from the connection below and you will put the map directly on the memory card. NOT IN ANY FOLDER. TOMTOM program use it's own maps like the other provider of GPS softwear.

The program will not work if you will not have a map on the memory card. It is not matter if you put the map on the memory card via USB cable or with card reader.
For swiching the maps from one to another go to main menu, push 5.Change preferences than push 6.Next 3x (3 times) than push Manage maps and than push Swich maps (you will see tha maps which are on the memory card) The shining in yelow is the one which is choosed, so choose another one and confirm. That is that.

Before you ask another question go to www.tomtom.com and download the manual in language you speak so you will get the basic answer there.

First you need to copy map on the memory card - TOMTOM is not working without map on the memory card. If this is not help format memory card, hard reset of phone, if you will still have a problem, put version 6.01 on the phone. and it should work.

Hey Marion you can find loads of GPS receivers on eBay, that's where I bought mine for my N73. They cost around £20-30 in the UK. I recommend the Holox ones, they're cheap and work very well.

If you're not worried about money, you can go to electronics shops, or order online. For example the original Nokia LD-3W receiver is around £60, in my personal opinion too expensive and not the best, but it's up to you. :)

Before in N70 I had tt5 and map of PL/CZ/SK/HU in the phone memory - that was almost 60MB together, but now maps are bigger and need more memory.
But, what`s a problem - memory cards are very cheep, that`s not a problem to put 2GB card into the mobile - a price of miniSD 2GB is 10 euros on ebay ;)

Marion be careful - I have the N73 and I have heard with all the Firmware upgrades people are having trouble getting the OEM GPS receivers to work. So you might have to purchase another GPS - Nokia can only confirm that their own Bluetooth will work - I have therefore opted for LD-3W which I purchased from Ebay. £42 including PP From HongKong waiting for delivery. This also means that I should only need one charger in the car as it will fit the phone and GPS receiver.

Here is a link to another seller ( I cant recommend this seller as I have never used them but just the first one I found)

All the files which you get out from the rar should be in a map called the sam as a map file Western_Europe, Eastern:Europe... And that map should be directly on the memory card in any folder - you make mistake and you put all eleven files out from map on the memory card.

For leeuwens1111

Mark all four parts that you download and than click on the them with right mouse button and urar them to one map.Copy the tom tom map to memory card and install sis file to phone's memory card, copy the map on the memory card and there you are.

Will work on Nokia E61 and has no matter on which network you are, since has nothing to do with network providers.
Read all the posts from begining til now you will se how it works. Basiclly you need your phone, big enaough memory card - depends which map you want to use and GPS receiver. GPS receiver connect to phone via bluetooth connection and give the position to TOM TOM softwear and this one show that position on preload map. So, you don't pay to nobody, becouse GPS receiver take information about position for free.

copy the folders that you have downloaded onto the root of the memory card.

copy the map folder of which ever country you require also onto the mem card.

it's possible you have a lot of POI's to show on the map
this can cause serious lag
disable showing of all categories to see if it is any better

and with the internal gps??
No.

That is NO.

NO! Tomtom does NOT use N95 internal GPS. And no sign of a patch either. Best hope is for Tomtom 7 when/if it is released for Symbian.

Fadiga
It works on E90 but not with internal GPS - you need to have extern GPS.

Kubutek 44

Read a posts up and down, use search button. Download the application, unrar to one folder, copy tomtom folder to memory card, also SIS file, find the map you would like to have and copy also directlly on the memory card complet with folder, run SIS file, install it on the memory card, restart the phone, run the application from My application menu, connect to GPS receiver (first buy it) outside the house (pair it with phone) and there you are.

Hi, you can find in poiplaza.com. Just back from Finland (Mikkeli) database were acceptable - 10% speedcameras were missing but those were quite fresh ones. You can find many countries poi's there.
