Have a ps2 which i got from the us..
Then got some original ps2 game cd's from uk..
The games dont seem to be working..
Do i have to do something to resolve this problem.

What model of your PS2?NTSC or PAL? PAL games work with PAL console while NTSC games work with NTSC console

Check the package of ur CDs to know the compatibility.. I recommend that you get a mod chip installed on ur system.. Then there'll be no compatibility issues and u'll be able to play even copied CDs from a PC..

Got the same problem also before... some CDs are not working with my PS2 console. I guess the problem is the CD system compatability (ie. PAL. NTSC). I brought it to one Game shop for repair and they installed one chip. Now all CDs are working even the pirated one!

true it is a matter of mod ship but i havd a littel trik there is a program called pal-NTSU changer u will do it to ur cds then burn em.
