This package is known multilanguage Symbian Route 66 Mobile 7 v2/3. Only this package mysteriously works well with internal N95's GPS receiver !
It does not ask BT connection at startup and doesn't exists the item "STANDARD GPS" in preferences --> navigation menu. Incredible... but, after few second, satellites fix happens by N95 inside GPS receiver!

I've personally tried it and works with internal N95 GPS. But I have original maps, purchased from Route66 website and I've my product code. I don't know if you can try with other not licencied maps...

You can try with any reset e.g. *#7370# Carefully... this command delete all data into your phone

No, officially is not released. All version doesn't work with internal GPS. Only this uploaded package. Strange... very strange! Moreover I've purchased latest version 7.3.520 but it doesn't work without any bluetooth GPS receiver, too.

You write uselessly! In R66 there are two items: STANDARD GPS and STANDARD GPRS. You don't know Route 66! If you are not interested, you can spend your time in another thead!

You are need a key**n but I belive that not available! Try merge crac**d version with this version replacing files step by step. It works fine only if you are original product key. I would want to understand what are the differences from crac**d version...

It seems that it works! An old Member of a German Phone Forum tested the Version with his own Key and it works fine!

It's not a fake but you need an original product key for activation! Which means you have to buy the product!!!

I thought this was the full, cracked, working completely when uploaded section!

I can't make it to work, i installed the right version (the mmc image posted here) and i installed one of the latest italy map i have, the problem is that the app doesn't start, so how can i put the original code if the app doesn't start? I have an orginal copy of route66 with original key, please any help will be appeciate...

for me it was the same! I havent deinstalled my old Version in the Phone! So he wanted to install the new one and it said "no installation possible" So i deinstalled it on the phone, took a formatted microsd Card and took R66 on it, now it was possible.

You are need a key**n but I belive that not available! Try merge crac**d version with this version replacing files step by step. It works fine only if you are original product key. I would want to understand what are the differences from crac**d version...There will be no keygen as Route66 does the calculation over inet or sms. The proper routines are not stored on the mobile. It doesn't make sense comparing both versions, because mobile7.exe is cracked (an encrpyted exe file). If you compare BiNPDA's 7.3.468 and the "original" 7.3.468 posted here you will find tons of different bytes. Looks like to whole exe is different. Plus you can't exchange both version because of the security model of Symbin 9.1.

So you may think: "what a smartass, why is he not doing the crack?!" Because I don't like cracks, i make themes :D

You simply can't get this version working without a legit activation key OR a new and PROPER crack!

Btw: it's just 50 € to get (three) legit key ... :D

I dont know guys - even if the cracked version of this does come out, it is not exactly the best product out there to use. I just dont know why the hell there is such a big difference between the S60 and the WM05 versions (the WM05 was not the greatest, but very usable and not as slow or buggy as the S60).

Just prefer and hope TT6 will get their version working soon with the N95..

i think it has to do something with the crack or the checking algo of the software.
the cracked version runs on my N73 also very slow.

i bought the german D-A-CH version for 57 euro, but its impossible to use the european maps.
but for my purpose i am using cracked tomtom for my travel and local in my town the "legal" r66 version :-))
(and waiting for a working crack of r66 on the n95)

It will NOT work without a legit key. So if you do not own Route66, it makes no sense installing this uncracked version at all ...

The internal gps may be accessed using a set of function as shown by nokia in some reference applications inside the SDK.

The set of function are:
SetUpdateInterval, SetUpdateTimeOut, SetMaxUpdateAge,
SetAcceptPartialUpdates, CancelRequest, NotifyPositionUpdate, Connect, and so on...

By a first look to 7.3.468 binary I haven't found any reference to these function. I haven't checked with IDApro or similar programs, but the application may have been compressed or encrypted, so may be right I can't see those function references.

To access GPS the application have to be installed using signed sis with a certificate key that enable the call to those function (As documentated by Nokia).
It seems that the sis file provided by binpda is self signed, so this is why that cracked version may not use internal GPS.
To overcame this problem, user may try to unsign the sis "signsis -u sisfile_selfsigned.sis sisfile_unsigned.sis", and sign it again with a proper developer certificate look at www.symbiansigned.coc.
The certificate is personal for your IMEI.

I have an Ultra II micro sd and i don't have any slow programs running on my N95!! Every GPS program I use runs smoothly! (TomTom, Route66, Maps, and Wayfinder 7!) ;)

Hi, I am a new N95 owner. How do I find out what version of Simbian I have?

i`ve had the version binpda 7.3.468 on my N95! With this Version there was a Field "Standard GPS" in "Options". Also the Soft always asked about Bluetooth GPS.
With the regular Version 7.3.468 and with my LEGAL Key from Route66 there is no "Standard GPS", and also the Version never ask me about Bluetooth GPS.
This is the Problem, why the binpda Version is not working without ext. GPS!

R66 website states latest update is:
NAVTEQ Q2-2006 (for Chicago)
NAVTEQ, Q1-2006 (for WMs)
NAVTEQ, Q4-2005 (for PPC)

They are the correct maps for Route66 Mobile7 Symbian S60.

They must be very "young". I have a Card from Germany and it shows me Streets that were builded just before max. half a Year!

So they should be Q3-2005 and this means 2 years old (at least). And also the one for mobile are the oldest! :(

PS I'm not using anymore R66 either. TT is far superior ;) (but for the free traffic update R66 offers...)

Can the app be install without a card reader using nokia pc suite ? How ? Is Romanian map availeble for this vers ? Can be used the navigate option for this country ? My n95 defoult gps hasn't that option working for Romania. I buy the nav licience but no use ! Thanx in adv !

For Romania you need "EasternEurope.prm". search for this on forum! Its a very good map!
