Requirements: Window Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5
Overview: Enables your application to manage a devices power levels

Kain Power Management Library

* Power Off
Now powering off a pocket pc device is as simple as a single function call, allowing your end users a simple method of turning off their machine, or adding power off when task completed functionality to your application in seconds.

* Soft/Hard* Reset
Rebooting a device has never been easier, whether its a soft reset to apply installation settings or a hard reset to protect your users private data, KPowerManager makes it simple.

* AC Power and Battery Status
On mobile devices power consumption is always a problem, now with KPowerManager you can keep up to date on all information about the power of the device. With one function call you now have all the information about how much charge is left in the users battery, or whether or not the device is running from AC power.

* Hardware Componant Power Settings
Every application needs different devices at different times, this is why KPowerManager provides you with the ability to set the power usage for each hardware componant available on the device.

* Screen On/Off
Sometimes a program will need to perform tasks that take a long time and need no input from the user. So why waste battery power running the screen when you don't have to? KPowerManager allows you to switch off the screen while still allowing your program to run, then turn the screen back on when you're finished.

* Enable/Disable Standby Mode
Is a devices automatic standby interupting your programs functioning? KPowerManagers standby functions allow your program to run for as long as it needs to while providing user feedback without forcing your users to make any changes in the control panel before or after running your application.

* Set/Get Backlight Brightness Level
Many of the most eye catching programs provide the user with a richly colored interface, but what if the user has set their backlight brightness to a level that makes your program look washed out or too dark? Using KPowerManager you can make sure the backlight is perfect for your program everytime without forcing your users to make adjustments in the control panel.

*Hard reset is only availble on pre-Windows Mobile 5 devices.

Hi,thanks for the post.

I got a problem. After download and unzip the file, i tried to install by double click on Kpowermanager.exe, it installed to my PC only, not install on/to my O2 Atom at all. I also try to copy the whole unzip folder to memory card and install from PPC side but it say that "KPowerManager is not a valid ppc application".

Pls help?
