Take the English 436 crossbow ROM from SD card in ETEN X500
Many reason to do that if you cant put the ROM with classic way & you don't need any activation key from ETEN.

1. Take this ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) file and unzip it.
2. Put the two files, temp.bin and USBDLUpdate_Console.exe in clean SD card formatted in fat 16 in your PC and put the card in X500.
3. Put the PDA in bootloader mode (press the record & power buttons together with soft reset button) & stay with two buttons pressed until the bootloader starts.
4. After 5-7 min it stops with a message [USB host is not connected yet]
5. Get out the battery, put it again and press the power button. Ready
