iPmart 18th June 2007, 02:24 from my opinion Sony is better
kanakana 21st June 2007, 12:59 I have used Sony Cybershot camera for 2 years before. It's not the same model - but quality and speed of camera is very good, Sony makes quality products - so I recommend Sony.
daryl mui 21st June 2007, 13:23 i bought the casio exilim z1050..it takes good pictures in bright lights but in indoors the picture taken are blurry if i do not use flash and tripod...
disco_stew 27th June 2007, 17:05 well I own a big bulky camera, the Nikon Coolpix 8800.
if I have to pick between these 2 cameras, I would go for Sony.
chardex26 2nd July 2007, 16:55 personally based on experience..... it actually depends on the camera model but in general
1. sony
2. canon
3. olympus
4. casio

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :)
I'd say:
1. Canon/Nikon (whatever you find more suitable - both rock)
2. other stuff
:)
i know it's just an opinion, but with cameras you should go for known, photography-oriented brands :)
casio has good watches, I have one and it's really good. And that's about it...
So remember every1! Go either for a Canon or Nikon! And buy yurselves SLRs!
So you can switch lenses for ones you like :)
Otherwise you are stuck with the lens provided with the camera...
:supz:
IxWiNdxI 21st December 2007, 04:09 I'd say Sony.. my friend has a Casio and the pictures didn't come out so well
Ubersensei 28th December 2007, 16:55 It's not the camera. It's the photographer.
But for brands, skip Sony or Casio. Go for Nikon or Canon. :)
What's important is how well you know your camera and how well you operate it. :)
bioda 28th December 2007, 17:10 please how do i retreive images/datas that i erronously deleted from my digital camera.thanks
ad_insane 3rd January 2008, 00:12 According to me Sony... I must be honest and say I wouldnīt choose any of these... My choice would be Nikon or Canon...
But in this competition Sony for sure...
tulipcat 5th January 2008, 10:13 hi,
i would choose sony cos it is more reliable (i think). if you would like to see some pix taken with sony cam, go to the travels section in dis forum. i have uploaded some of my pictures taken with sony dsc t10.
however, depends on what u want. canon 860 (or 870 in some markets) is also good as it has wide angle properties. sony digicam does not come in 28mm unless u buy their SLR (which is rather expensive) hope this helps :D

Really true!
But there are limitations too :)
REALLY go for Canon/Nikon :2thumbsup:
IxWiNdxI 12th January 2008, 08:21 I would go for a Canon brand.. but if it is really only up to those 2 brands I would pick Sony. My girlfriend's friend has a Casio and the image quality is not really good.
crankyranx 16th February 2008, 15:04 my goodness, casio exilim batteries s*cks. i just hadnt used it for a month, and then it never charged anymore =(
