Hi I have problems with my PDA, it become crazy. When I was speaking, conversation somehow ended and my pda freezed, I did a soft reset and called again and was the same situation. And when I turning on my screen with Turn On button also starts fuction what is setted on right soft key, I did hard reset and cleared storage, but still the same. What may be with my pda?

I have enabled my Wifi and it detected some Wifi network. Most of them are stated that UNSECURITY; only a few are SECURITY-ENABLED. Those with SECURITY-ENABLED require KEY. So I think those with UNSECURITY don't require KEY. But i couldn't connect it at all.

I'm a recent convert to a Pocket PC phone, actually, I'm still using my Treo 700P as well, but am looking for a program similar to TAKEphone ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) for the PPC.

I travel quite a bit out of the country and using my current phone book TAKEphone allows you to create different dialing "locations" which reconfigures the way phone numbers are dialed depending on the location you select.

You have to extract rar files with winrar program for pc.

Hey friends....i have a o2 xda zinc.....it was working fine but 1 day i got a call and then the phone freezed and the screen started diminishing and then it went off then it didnt switch on.now wen i connect my phone to the charger the orange light turns on and then off then no movement.then when i try to connect to pc same thing happens and the active sync shows not connected.I buyed this phone frm hk and in bombay there isnt any o2 service entre and i dont wanna give it to local dealers to repair.so pls provide me with help and i think its d problem with the software so pls post how should i fix it.thx in advance

After having taken a look at all the posts, which have been published, I realized that there is no information regarding Language Extender for Bluetooth Keyboards and as a result I’m creating a new thred. I’m writing from Greece and I just managed to use my new Freedom Universal Keyboard for me PDA (HTC P3300) but unfortunately and for my disappointment I found out that is doesn’t support Greek characters, fonts and as a matter of that Greek language. I contacted the mother company and they informed me that there is no appropriate driver so as to activate the Greek language. Does anybody know anything about this issue, which could help me out, for example a dll file or a suitable driver?

Just run with the file. My personal recommendation, better wait for a while first before u wanna upgrade to wm6 cause it looks still many bugs. Some more u can't down grade it just by running the wm5 rom. U need to sent back to manufacturer for downgrading and they will charge u for this.

There should be a simple phone operation button, no call options, no last calls in view.
All I need sometimes is a big fullscreen keyboard to punch in my fastdial numbers and nothing else.

after it says 'usb device not recognised' u should double click on usbmodem_dialer.exe file in your computer and enter ur apn and press the connect button , it will connect then , the usbmodem_dialer.exe file can be found on the cd which came with ur mobile , there is also detailed instruction on using ur mobile as modem in ur mobile manual , u can refer it for further instructions

Some apps you have to run on the PC first, than it installs it onto your PPC. Try running the app on your PC. Cab files are ALWAYS run on your PPC.

A2DP suppose to be included in the ROM if you have the right AKU version
I am not sure which ROM you are using? but I suggest you visit [Only registered and activated users can see links] and look for your Phone (HTC Wizard) you may need to upgrade you ROM

I have a small question about Destinator. I downloaded and installed 6th version on my pocketpc (WM 5) and downloaded "Hungary__Croatia__Slovenia__Estonia__Latvia__Lithu ania__Bulgaria__Romania__Czech_Republic__Slovak_Re" map from impart-forum. But I download it from rapidshare and I have only file "Hungary__Croatia__Slovenia__Estonia__Latvia__Lithu ania__Bulgaria__Romania__Czech_Republic__Slovak_Re" and... I don't know what to do with it. When I put it to my SDcard - Destinator doesnt see this map.

I guess you mean the soft keys right? anyhow there is 2 ways
1) changing the registry ( that is difficult)
2) you install the software SK_tools. with that software you can do it

Just bought it and am not amused by the phone options.
There should be a simple phone operation button, no call options, no last calls in view.
All I need sometimes is a big fullscreen keyboard to punch in my fastdial numbers and nothing else.
Try dialing with gloves on as it is now... haha

if you wan to back up your contacts you can do it with a backup software like SPB backup or more specific software which called PIM Backup (fdcSoft)

I would just try to find a good theme maker and design a theme that fits what you are looking for. Then you can change the color of the notifications and such.

There are some Nintendo emulators, and a few others I believe. Wideawake over at PPCGeeks found some. Go over there and search the Apache forum for emulators. Good luck!

I would try Thememaker X. It seems to work well for people. I don't have it, but I'm sure you can do a search for it. I haven't made a theme in almost a year. I use Wisbar Advance instead.

After pressing Voice Commander button some times, the sound of my PPC Asus P525 is disappeared. However, sound works OK with incomming call (it means the speaker is not broken). When I plug-in headphone, Voice Commander automatically runs and sound works OK. When I plug-out headphone, I can't hear anything.

I remember coppin it a couple weeks back on this site..just search my nicca..it's here. My advice? Get Smartfilter and Auto SMS Reply 2.x instead...that combo works waaaay better and more reliably than Magicall. With Magicall sometimes I found that setting rules won't always work the way I wanted it to. Just set Pocketpluas to exclude Smartfilter and Auto SMS and you good to go.

What's good farata, no luck locating a retail version of Speedscript but I did install and try the demo on my old toshiba unit..trust me search for and install BOTH Tengo Keyboard and Tengo Thumb on your device (both available on this forum). Tengo Thumb for one-handed operation, Tengo Keyboard for stylus input. This is simply the best, fastest and most efficient SIP available...everything else pales in comparison,especially after a week or two of use and it learns all your words. No exaggeration, I'm just as fast on Tengo as I am typing on my PC's keyboard.

OK, I found a better set of files for download of Riven for PPC. The files are not currupt, can be extracted and have the intallation numbers and passwords.

What you mean with, "have formated your pocked PC"? is it means you made hard reset? do you have any backup? have you sync with outlook before? 2X no? say bye to your data :cry:

My advice, next time when buying a card, go for one that comes with a lifelong guarantee.

so that means card should be discarted.... hey but i can use files in it like songs etc by shortcuts menu only problem is i cannot browse it. it may be virus as u say but my mcfee doesnot recognise it which anti virus do u suggest before throwing that sd card....

Plz urgent help needed for my trueloved HTC BlueAngel. My Display is broken by a scratch from the middle left to bottom right. The Display run at this time and it runs right now like it was the first day. but i think it is better to get a good tutor for changing the display in a real hard operation, also i think the display will loose his life for long or short. Anyway the next scratch give the rest? who knows.

a new display is not the problem. the solution is a real good tutorial how to change this important piece of genious hardware in german or english lang. PLZ help me cause i don´t want to kill my device.
