Hi all,
I found this trick to make the DS Browser work on R4

Method(You must have one R4, M3 or SC):
1). Get the "0591_Nintendo DS Browser DL" first;
2). After decompressing please change the file name to be "BrowserOG.nds";
3). Please download the "M3 convert Bat" or "SC convert Bat";
4). Put the "BrowserOG.nds" to the same folder with the "M3 conver Bat" or
"SC convert Bat";
5). Run the "M3 conver Bat" or "SC convert Bat", It will generate
"browserM3.nds"or "browserSC.nds";
6). Put the "browserM3.nds"or "browserSC.nds" to your R4;
7). Plug your M3 or SC and turn on your DS Lite;
8). Run the "browserM3.nds"or "browserSC.nds".

theres an easier way down load the rom use the DS BROWSER ips patch and apply it with LUNAR IPS patcher and then put it on your card and use it but you also need a SLOT 2 CARD in place as it needs the extra ram :)

apply the patch to the rom and put the rom on the M3/R4 CARD and use with a slot 2 card for a memory pack :)

so far there is no way possible to make it work with SLOT 1 only it needs the ram of a slot 2 card to cache /use the pages quickly enough :(

hey..where do i get the convert R4 batt? what is this application all abt anyway? i only got the browser, but it doesnt work by itself..=)

The topic is quite old, you don't need all the hassle ---> you have a working browser in DSOrganize, and it works with Slot1 linkers.
(Although it is seriourly limited because of hardware limitation, the DS has only 4MB of RAM memory...)

All the links are good. And it is funny to come on a forum with essentialy free content and spit in the soup.
.Bat are not programs anyway, but text files.
