I am having some trouble with D7. It is goofing up my PPC date and time. If I select NMEA protocol, there is error of 30 minutes (minus) and if I select SirFF protocol, then it downloads some random date and time.

Is there any way to correct this or disable date time update all together.

Can some wise guy help me with the above problem.

Unfortunatelly something going wrong.This is not the 2007.q2 but 2006.q3.
2007.q2 have more cities with adresses.For example mykonos in new map have adresses in the map you have uploaded doesnt.Katerini have adresses and numbers, this map have only adresses.And in some routes i see the same errors like 2006.q3 and doesnt exist in 2007.q2

i will check again what i have uploaded and will repost tomorrow.

Afaik the latest greek map is 2007.Q2.1132, while the previous map was 2006.Q3.4503. The wce.txt of the map you have uploaded states: Version 2007.Q3.4503 ! :shock:

It seems that you have uploaded a mixture of files from both maps and also edited wce.txt, resulting in a 2006.Q3 map reporting to be a future release!

It is normal for this map to run with PN, as the 2006.Q3 map was compatible with it!

That option is for daylight savings. We do not observe DST but I will still try. My current setting is UTC+5:30 and the updated time is UTC+5.

Hello guys, my problem is that I have intalled the Dest7 on my Qtek 2020i, but the program can not find the GPS Device that I have already connected via Bluetooth (Fortuna Slim). I tried all the available ports, but still doesn't work. When I had Dest 6.1.1 I didn't have any problems with that. (I think it's very stupid to mention that I have already restarted GPS device and Qtek)

You copy the maps inside the DestinatorApps folder like they are named and inside their own folder (don't copy the files inside the DestinatorApps, move the whole map folder inside there).

Please, read the previous posts. The POIs are all there. At the POIs screen, press Next (the bottom-right button) and you will see them.

Not a chance in a million! Tell your friends to wait for NGi to make this map work in PNA's but they have to upgrade their destinator too... It will never work with destinator pn.

my friend steledamo i use fhotoshop for all the changes i want to make in my pictures in fhotoshop try the order replace to change the car colour
as for your second question try gpspocketpc.gr some friends there have gother some cars and other images for pointers and a general search in the net according to the mark of the car you want will give you images of the car you want.
another way is what i did take some fhotos of your own car edit it with fhotoshop save it in png format with a resolution about 90x110 and use it as a pointer

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a Destcore.dll (WM5) for Destinator 6.1 and 7.0 for Brazilian Maps 2007 Q2. Can anybody help me?
I have a Destcore.dll for WM5, but in 6.1 the screen don't show street names in the top of navigation screen when I've set intinerary.
In 7.0, I have Destcore.dll too, but in the Streets Finder screen, just cities apperars, but I can't type any street, because doesn't have streets visible. I use a Mio C220 WM5. Thanks in advance!

1 calculates the destination and does not says any more that you are not in the road if you are in the road or not
2 the demo works
3 the slideplayer works
4 it plays the destination route and in 3d mode

the bad
1 regional settings does not work it hangs
2 in demo mode in the speed cameras it shows only the picture and the sound is just a ding .no letters no sound
3 after a minute it lowers the brightness the previous version was good in some pdas mine is eten x500
4 it opens the active sync as the pervious version
5 the bugs in favorites still remains
6 is still slow and heavy

i know is a beta and is for testing waiting for next release

Unistall the old version and install the new one (but make a back up with the old
version . Maybe the new version is not good)

Guys, on my Mio P550 the new Destinator 7.0.0.574 installs OK. But when I replace the DestCore.dll found in fixed.zip the software does not run properly, the menus are blank!

OK, I detected the problem. Before first run, I installed the cracked DestCore.dll from version 7.0.0.463 and make all settings the way I want. Then I replace the DestCore.dll with the one found in Fixed.zip.

Please confirm (found the bug) when you go to Main Menu > Settings > Options > NEXT to Time Settings, do you get a blank screen? Because I do! And when I press the custom button to ROTATE the screen, oops, the menus are visible...

This version sucks...

And the Greek slideshow DOES NOT WORK simply because there is no CONTENT in the slideshow/language folder for GREEK!!!!

Hi. I'm new here. I have read all the pages twice, and didn't find a way to make the pda stopping to turn off (on a wm2003). On page 23, Developer69 made a post to resolve this problem for wm5 devices, but on the wm2005 AIRIS T620, I didn't needed it. It's strange, because I have tested in various different pdas, with different results. On a 0n HP RX3115 (wm2003), Airis T620 (wm5) it worked fine, but on an Inview N911 (wm2003), Siemens SX66 (wm2003), it turns off the device. I have used a program called Mortscript to make a script to change the settings of "turn off device if not used for..." before running Dest7, and turn on again after leaving (closing) Dest7. It worked fine on the SIemens SX66, but it's not working on the Inview N911 (same wm2003). Verified that when Dest7 is running, the "turn off device if not used for..." was unchecked, but it's still turning off the device.... Anyone can help me with any other way to resolve this problem? If I leave "turn off device if not used for..." unchecked on the Inview N911, the built-in GPS module will be still powered, consuming energy, even after powering off the device. Thanks in advance.

HI again, I got the solution myself by using Developers69 used keepalive.exe and mortscript to run it before Dest7 and closes it after. Just download Mortscript 4 (freeware) and use this script (copy and paste in the notepad and save as ~the name you want~.mscr)

I would like to say that on my Mio P550, the new Destinator 7.0.0.543 is a disappointment, compared to the initial v7 release (7.0.0.463). Please confirm the same problems during operation:

still shuts down the screen when operating on batteries (but not always on A/C in the car).
if auto-zoom is enabled, the scrolling of the map is still clunky and not smooth.
there is a bug when using the posted patched DestCore.dll and when first setting up the device or later use: The menu option "Clock Settings" appears blank, and can only be seen when I press the orientation button on my Mio (custom-set hard-button).
the map cannot be shown like previous versions, i.e. with the car/point facing the road ahead, but it rotates left and right despite checking/unchecking the appropriate (first) option in the Settings. This can be nerve-wrecking since I have been used to watching what's ahead of me!
minor spoken errors (Greek) not fixed, of course.
still wrongly showing the Favorites folder, difficulty checking/unchecking them.
I am switching back to v7.0.0.463 having v6.1.1 on my SD card for proper trip operation (can't afford to experiment when I need proper navigation!).

I just wished iGo had NGi maps for Greece.... it is SO superior in its opertation...

Did anyone find a proper crack for DestCore.dll for this new 7.0.0.543 version? I have the impression this .dll could cause problems... and it's a different byte-size that the one installed (either Win2003 or WM5).

I think thats the problem also and about our friend delimari he is indeed a funny boy and tries to use destinator 7 in his poor buggy htc 3300 :)

Can any one help, I have installed Destinator 7 and UK_Ireland map from Destintor 6.

When I 1st start up destinator I get the enter the language then click OK but then the screen just seems to freeze with a blue background and I have to reset the PDA? I am using a XDA Orbit to load the program.

Can any one help me with this problem please, I do want to try it out before I buy it (when iit becomes available)

in my opinion the most important problem is the rotation of map. it does not rotate and you cannot trust this map. additionally, the backlight is off even if we use ac power.

I know Faganas, and thanks for sharing--it's just that it would be good for non-experienced people to be warned of the side-effects of the new v7 release... or play with the DestCore.dll from the original v7 release... At least, this version still shows that I live at the same address ;)

Everybody has this problem, this new version has many bugs that weren't in D7.0... let's wait for D7.1...

OK guys, here's the solution (or not much of a solution).

For all those that have installed the second beta of Destinator V7 (i.e. version 7.0.0.574) the map rotation 'bug' is solved if you installed the patched DestCore.dll from version 7.0.0.473.

This could mean it isn't much of an upgrade or bugfixes since we use the older DestCore.dll but at least this allow us to avoid uninstalling and re-installing this application.... I tested it yesterday. And obviously, if you select the 'About' button, you will not see build 574 but build 473. This file is very essential to the application...!

The file destcore.dll from previous version has not the rotation problem but it has the problem with the calculation of the route and so both of file older and newer do not solve these two problems simultaneously.

the maplink destinator is in brazilian portuguese, but I never found it for download. and I think its better use the portugal one than pay R$400 for this version (and it is destinator 6)...

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a Destcore.dll (WM5) for Destinator 6.1 and 7.0 for Brazilian Maps 2007 Q2. Can anybody help me?
I have a Destcore.dll for WM5, but in 6.1 the screen don't show street names in the top of navigation screen when I've set intinerary.
In 7.0, I have Destcore.dll too, but in the Streets Finder screen, just cities apperars, but I can't type any street, because doesn't have streets visible. I use a Mio C220 WM5. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure this is a PNA edition?
How can we install it?
I have a PNA edition of Dest PN and it creates a console on the PC and you install it from there.This is totally different.Please give us some more information.

If the PNA does not run Dest what can be done?
Somebody gave me a PNA fron the USA with it's own program and map.I loaded PN which i had on a CD through the console,but i cannot make it start from the shortcut it had for it's own program.Any ideas?

I've been trying for a week to make it work but so far,it hasn't.

with me it works now , just copy the folders of the previously posted destinator version in the sd card , http://rapidshare.com/files/47671992...tor_7.rar.html, there are greek simbols in the favorites folder that caused my activesync to hang up, just delete the favourites files in the folder before copy to the sd , double click on destinator .exe, set the gps settings, should work if your pna is unlock:supz:ed.

As i can see mate,you're making a mistake.You must create a folder with the name exactly as i will spell it: DestinatorApps
Copy the map inside this folder without any other subfolder and you will be OK.
Can you give us the link to download these maps too?

I tried to create new pointers for Destinator 7 using Corel Photo Paint. I used a picture of my bike, erased the background, resized at 96X96 pixels and saved them as .png photos. But I see nothing on the map and the program jams, until I reset the device. Help me, please!

Faganas thanks a lot working ok on my MIO 550 but i have another problem that i need help i have on S/D cart dest 6.1.4, dest 7.0.4 and yours 7.0.5 they all have the same problem when i turn them on i don't have voice or when it has voice it sometimes gets lost on the road after a while the only solution is to turn everything off and start allover again until it lose it again do you or anybody else know why is it a machine problem or is it possible to be from the software does anyone else has same problems in any of the above programs

According to http://www.destinator.ch/ are the most current maps Q4/2006 for Western Europe countries. The maps for Eastern Europe countries are Q1/2007.

Guys great work with Dest 7
Just wanna ask for a little favour.
I had in Dest 6.1.1 inside voice folder a greek101db folder which was the same sounds but enhanced and with a better female voice!!
Is there something like that for Dest 7? I tried copy paste with the folder from Dest 6.1.1 to Dest 7 but doesn't play!!

The old Dest 6.1 was in my opinion a full functional program with minimum bugs!
It is unacceptable for DEst 7 not being able to bypass device settings and turn off after 1 minute without car charger!!
I'm not accusing anyone i am just pointing out my complains about Dest 7 which is supposed to be better and more user friendly than Dest6.
I will try it with my car charger but i don't think that this will be my next navigation software.

If you have any "profiles" software installed (like PhoneWeaver), you can set up a "GPS" profile that will, for example, turn on your BT (if you have a BT GPS) and set the backlight to "on" without time limits (and maybe set your volume to the loudest setting, etc).
Then you just activate this profile with a click when you need it, and click back to your standard one when you 're done navigating.

I have been informed by a mapping company that the new Mexico map is now at the ftp site of destinator:

Version v7.0.0.463 seems to have some bugs. Although very fast (so I did not downgrade back to version 6), sometimes it sows me out of the road, asks to turn over but it was wrong etc. Is version v7.0.0.574 any better? Is it worth to install or should I wait for next - stable - not beta version? Does anybody kwow about upcoming ver. 7.1? Thank you in advance..

The version can be downgraded by simply copying over the DestCore.dll file from the previous v7 installation--make sure it's for the right OS, either Win2003 or WM5. It works for me!

I believe you just need to replace DestCore.dll with the attached one (keep a copy of the original file, in case this doesn't work).
