I have a question. Can I downgrade my nokia 6280 from firmware 6.43 to 3.81.
Is this possible or has this not been tested. I want something to test.

I've never heard of the firmware been downgraded. I think it might be very dangerous so be careful. What's the problem mate?

downgrade is not yet possible... ;)

i once tried downgrading and it screwed up the phone. afterwards couldnt even get it working with dead-phone flashing. SO DONT DOWNGRADE WITH PHOENIX.

i could only revive the phone by getting it flashed from a flasher/box.

you must have box to downgrade your phone, so go to some mobile service, they can do this...

Its very risky to downgrade phone firmwares. You can damage the phone. neither I have heard its possible to downgrade phone firmwares.

I have the problem that my phone is losing the network, when i have switched on UMTS (3G)and on dual mode when it is showing that i have 3g network(the network is strong tried on nokia 6233). When the phone is left alone for a minute the network 3g goes down to zero and then I am not reachable and I can not call out for 2 or 3 times, then the networks goes to full and i can call out and I am reachable. And when I don´t use the phone to call, the network goes again to zero. This problems is not happening on GSM network mode.
I first noticed this problem when my phone was firmware updated on a nokia service from 3.X (i don´t know anymore) to 5.1 I belive. From then i have tried all the firmware updates (home self update-phoenix) and the problem remains.

After i noticed the problem i brought the phone to a nokia service and they only updated the firmware again (the phone was 4 weeks in service)

And when I called in in I got angry why they didn´t even try to fix my phone they said i should calm down and i should bring the phone back to the service that they will fix it.

So i thought a downgrade my fix my problem.
