Hello ppl.
I have a P990i and with it i got a PC Suite that needs WinXP SP2 to install but i dont have SP2 i use SP1 so is there any way to install it or is there another PC Suite for this phone that doesent need SP2.
I need to install it so i can update my firmware ;]]

it's better to install SP2.. you won't lose anything doing that!

I do not want to clutter the tread with less than expert info, but I have noticed that the SE software requires .NET and I prosume other links to operate correctly. You will not be able to do it on SP1. I also tried to postpone upgrading to SP2 for as long as I could and was forcesed to change with the P990

I have .NET and everything that SP2 has but it wont install untill you have SP2 itself. Is there a way to fool the installation into thinking you have SP2 (change some .ini or something) .
It looks to me ill have to go to SP2 but i would rather try ANYTHING before going to SP2.

Your question pertains to the PC Suite.... You don't need the PC Suite in order to update your firmware!!! You need the Update Service!
