HI Guys I'm from the Philippines too. I'm afraid we have to wait a little more until we can get updated to the latest. I tried updating but no R9G007 yet. Guess it still not in the SE Philippine servers (if there is such a thing). Just keep trying every other day, maybe it will come up soon.

we have the same firmware. I'm a Smart Subscriber. You might want to check the CDA list from time to time. You can refer to UIQ Sourceforge:

There are three entries for the Philippines - Generic Trade, Smart Com, and Globe Telecom.
For you I guess it Generic Trade, somehow mine updated to Generic Trade R9F011.

Someone mentioned a problem with LCG Jukebox.

Yes that was me.

It is a problem that has been confirmed by another member.

In my case, it works fine if music is played through the speakers.

However on connecting headphones ( both the bundled SE ones and Walkman headphones ) the progress bar stutters and no music, only a clicking pulsing sound is heard.

another bug-anyone else noticed? in smartmovie when you watch/listen video with headphones it happens that movie is running slowly and there isnt any voice..you have to reinsert few times headphones that thing works normally but when you play another movie it starts f**king again..any solution to this?i saw ALACI has the same prob with LCG Jukebox..

Updating with SEUS is not an easy task. I failed 3 times resulting in my phone unable to boot. But I managed to have the latest firmware for M600i though which is CDA R6A13 using SEUS. So if it is possible for you to find a service center that can update your firmware, it is really recommended to do so.

yup i did. and after that i checked for some last bugs some of theme were solved but still there are some bugs :

1.When phone is off and you charging the battery, backlight is on.
2.Alarm doesn't working when phone is off.
3.No sound through headphones except for built in media player(again)

Hi, may be i'm wrong but my P990i led is not blinking after upgrade the FW to R6E28. I think it used to be before that. Anyone with old FW could check and clear my confusion?

Mine is on older firmware im waiting to see reviews on the new one before updating and my led is blinking when i get a new sms etc..

Just checked again and found that the led is only blinking when receiving sms and being charged.

@cstX : when you turn on the bluetooth, is the led in blue? i just want to check if anything wrong with mine.

Please check if your DEFAULT browser can use your latest flash pluggin. It should work normally.

Application error may be by some programs. Ie. Window Blinds make these kind of errors.

i've upgraded my w950i to R6E28. there's a progress bar now during startups and it's faster now.

the alarm doesn't sound when assigned on workdays though, but set it on daily and it'll work.

battery back-up has come down (R6E28) compared to previous firmware....

Try another phone, an UIQ3 (M600, P1i) and it will work the same; it's actually malfunctionning, SE has also pb with websites..:rolleyes:

For whatever reason, the screen calibration on my W950i is off by quite a lot. I tried doing both an update service and master reset on the phone to no avail. Is there anything I can do to maybe restore the device or remove whatever crazy calibration settings the device is currently detecting? On the lower part of the screen, calibration is off slightly, but as I move the stylus up further on the screen, it becomes a bit more drastic. In the calibration application, when it asks to "Tap the center of point 1" I get the error "Too far from point 1". The phone feels as if it has been rendered useless,

I really dont know. I updated my phone but I dont see any difference, my phone is still slow. Some people say with a latest FW phone works better and its faster...thats why I am asking here if I have the latest firmware...damn I am confused :???::)
