anyone know where i can get language files for a p990i with organizer software version CXC162091 R5A17? tried the SE site already and could not find one. am actually after a file that has US English. thanks in advance.

Chinese handsets are using a quite different file system from English/Global ones. So you could never succeed trying to install Chinese the way mentioned above. The only once for all means is that you buy a Chinese handset, or flash your handset with Chinese ACPU&CDA.

hello,im the new user of p990i in malaysia,im currently facing the same problem oso..(cant read and write chinese).it has made so much inconvenient to me..but as wat i refer to the user guide book,it mentioned that we can try to ungrade our language in www.sonyericsson.com/support..but wat i found it was the same as redline uploaded..english n malay included, but not chinese..so may i noe wat can i do to make my phone support chinese??my fren had bought a p1i recently,but his phone support chinese..both p990i n p1i are smart phone,but y 1 can support but another 1 cannot??

please help. i need language file except american and UK english cause i already have them. i can download from sonyericsson site. im only using opera mini on my P990i. phone cant handle the size.
