Hi to everyone,
I have problem with my BlackBerry 8100.
I cant use him like modem for my laptop to go on internet ower BlackBarry.
When I conect him with my laptop he find him like storage device, but i cant find any blackbarry modem in my control panel!!!
Does anyone hawe solution for it?
I use T-mobile Croatia.
Thank you.
Best regards, Kresimir
You can't find it ;-)
When you'll need to browse the net properly, you'll need to buy an 3G card or PCMCIA card adaptor. Else, the in-built modem (as for 8700 and 8900 models) are using GSM (not Wi-Fi) protocols...So, call T-mobile and tells them your wishes and i'm sure they can help you better than me :)
P.S. To cheer you up, look what i've found: h**p://www.blackberryforums.com/blackberry-guides/2019-user-howto-use-blackberry-modem-laptop.html and h**p://blackberryforums.pinstack.com/2463-8700_modem_tmobile_users.html
It's also available some script(s) as i was told, but i'm sure you'll won't need it :)

Hi @mepetrut,
I think you didnd unerstand me properly.
I know all about Perl dont have 3G modem or HDSPA compatibility, but there where i going on my hollyday i dont nead it. I only nead EDGE, and Perl have it.
To buy 3G PCMCI card for me its waste of money bicouse on my Perl I have activated "Web and walk" option for internet acces for 1 GB/month.
I only nead Blackberry modem driver/software for laptop to make New conection.
Thank you anyway.

Oh, sorry for bothering you then
I like to read between lines but, from yours, i didn't guess that.
For XP OS, go to h**p://blackberryforums.pinstack.com/5657-blackberry_driver_windows.html and h**p://www.expansys.cn/ft.aspx?i=135804&thread=1 and i'm damn sure ur wish are gonna be fullfilled
If you don't like to read those, go to h**p://blackberryforums.pinstack.com/18314-pearl_t_mobile_tethered_modem-3.html and, of course, read carefully :)
So, what i'm trying to say is that driver it's INCLUDED in XP...BUT you'll have to read how is setting up, as the stand-alone driver doesn't exist separatelly!
Cheers / regards...
