Hey all, I'd just like to say that this doesn't seem to work with my APAC Firmware (v12.0.14). When I add the fonts, the phone crashes/reboots but doesn't have the new font when restarted.

Perhaps it's not compatible - Serves me right for wanting the latest firmware eh?

NOKIA 5700(although I did not find "compatible with NOKIA 5700" anywhere in this thread).
I think you should change the name of this thread and add "NOKIA 5700 fonts" too as all the fonts are working in it and plus I did not find any thread for NOKIA 5700 fonts here.

Man, You have to connect your phone in mass storage mode before change the contents of resources directory...

mate...in z:/resource/fonts...u have 2 files...S60ZDIGI.ttf and S60SC.ccc...First...download which font u want...make folder fonts in ur pc...then copy all files that u d/load into that folder(in ur PC)...then make a copy of S60ZDIGI.ttf into de same folder and rename it to S60SC.ccc...finally copy fonts folder from ur pc to memory card(using card reader or data transfer) into folder name resource...thats all...

hey buddy i m also using n95 but what i do i connect my cell to my pc than chose mass storage device than just del old fonts nd simply copy new fonts to memory card .
than remove cell from usb nd than just restart the phone nd its done..........

really like your work guy but got a thought which I dont know if its possable or not (or legal) but while your designing new fonts. you could include the standard nokia N95 symbols/images
for example the silent mode symbol. (you might be able to get these from the original nokia ones on the phone.)
This way you dont get the [] symbol appering instead.

i have installed the fonts in my N95 8Gb n they are working fine but I m not able to change them or connect in data transfer mode..

Anyways I really like the blambotcasual font that was posted earlier and I was wondering... is there a *slightly* narrower version available at all? It looks lush on my phone and everything's great, except it makes the search feature on the standby screen take up two lines instead of one. I've enclosed a screenshot to show what I mean.

nahsi - edit the ini file within your fonts folder so that the the first two enables are set to 0. restart your phone and then delete the font.

You mean like a typewriter? How about using Courier or Courier New? It's on practially every PC out there so you could nick it from your own :)

I meaned font like this one. It is not working well on N95 so I look for working one.

I dunno if all those who have problem with installing the fonts found an answer already. I used to have problem installing fonts for my N95 as well.. I have just managed to install the fonts that tp12 and varunzz have posted.

My installed fonts in the Z:\resource\fonts are
S60SC.ccc
S60TCHK.ccc
S60ZDIGI.ttf

So to install their fonts, I just rename the files to the same name as found in my phone and use the same number of files. Meaning to say in their package they have total of 4 files, we need to delete one of the nohindi***60.ttf file, any one will do. Then rename the other 2 to the .ccc file name and put them to the E:\resource\fonts, then restart the phone and vola, the font is in the phone!

Hope this will help all who wish to change their fonts on N95.

I have same as you 3 files with same names......I've done what you have recommend but it's still the same.....nothing happening :(! Maybe there is a problem because I already have folder in "E" named "resource" where I have all apps, skins, plugins ....so I have named this folder with "s" at the end, so "resources", and as I said nothing happening, and if I try to make New File in "resource" using X-plore it's saying "Can't make dir: fonts"!
Also I can't use "Mass Storage" option 'cos nokia N95 8GB doesn't have card as you all know....

Anyone have solution for this one?

Here you go.As you can see it works perfectly on my cell. These fonts are brilliant and from now I'll be using these only. Maybe youre doing something wrong.. :) Lemme know what happens. :)

It didn't worked for me :( don't know the problem but I did what the instructions says,. I used USB, data transfer, I created a folder named "Resources" and created a folder inside named "fonts" and put the font file inside and restart but no luck. I'm using N95 classic.
