i make this thread for all N80 users to help them change their fonts...hope youll like my collections...

NOTE: CONNECT THE USB PORT ON YOUR PC AND CELLPHONE...SELECT MASS STORAGE AND FIND RESOURCE THEN FIND FONTS...COPY THESE FILE
S60SNR.ttf
S60SSB.ttf
S60TSB.ttf
S60ZDIGI.ttf
AND PASTE ONTO IT..ENJOY...


USEFUL TIPS TO DELETE THE FONTS:

If you want to undo this, simple remove your memory card, reboot the phone, when its open insert the memory card again then connect the usb port choose mass storage and delete the Fonts folder from E:\Resource folder and put it back again.

i tried to connect my N80 in 'data transfer' mode.
i found 'resource' folder on my memory card, but there's no 'font' folder !!
only 3 folders exist, 'apps' - 'help' - 'plugins'
could u enlighten me in this matter? should i create a new folder or there's something wrong with my card's system files?
o yea one more thing, i found the 'font' folder in my Z drive which is the ROM drive..but i couldnt access it when i used 'data transfer' mode(via PC), i found it via file browser on my phone.

FIRST OF ALL YOU MUST SELECT MASS STORAGE AND OPEN YOUR MY COMPUTER AND FIND THE REMOVAL DISK THAT COORDINATE WITH YOU PHONE THEN SELECT RESOURCE\FONT...IF YOU DON'T FIND IT...YOU MUST CREATE A FOLDER NAME FONT ON E:\RESOURCE\:ilove:

first of all thx for the quick reply.
i did what u told me...i've created a new folder 'Fonts' in the 'resource' folder on my memory card and pasted the 4 files i downloaded earlier.
and then i rebooted my phone...
after its on again, nothing actually changed. still have the same ol' font..
did i miss something here.. :(

i just recently flashed it u know, just a few weeks back..my fw version is the latest for my region right now, i tried to check again but there's no update available (via NSU). yes i've heard new fw version 5 in this forum, but i cant upgrade into it.. :(
well i guess i have to stick with my ol' font right..thx anyway bros

i don't have any f**king choice to select as mass storage , here but i' make the folder and i past the font's , i restart my phone and nothing... why??:cry:

yes man but when i'm going to update my software , the soft says that is the lastet firmeware for my phone why??

hi dude you have to re write your phones product code you need to download a nss program to re write your phones product code once thats changed you can re install the nsu program and hey presto ....... well thats what i have been told..........go here first( [Only registered and activated users can see links]) and download this...

Open NSS and click on “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window

Hi, my N80 is wif the latest fw 5.xxxx.
I follow your instruction and create a font folder in at E:\resource with all the 4 files in.
Restarted the phone but nothing happen. Maybe somewhere i did wrong?

Also i notice there is also a Z:\resource\fonts with 3 files in it.

I notice only the font for the "Time" that on display during sleep mode is changed and not the rest.



Please enlighten me how do i proceed to solve my problem. Thanks.
