Hi sorry, this is an enquiry, not sure if this is the right subforum to do so... moderators, would you be so kind to relocate this post to somewhere appropriate, if it isn't here?
I am looking for an app to hide your callerid, eventhough in the phone settings, this is supposed to be set by your network operator. Is there such an app, supposedly the receiver will get Private Number on the other end of their cell.... Kindly tell me the name and link, if you have it, thanks!!!

There's no additional application to do it. Your phone has that option and you can't make calls if you set Send my Caller Identity to Off/On. It works only if you set it to Set by network.
I'm telling about Indian networks. For more information, contact your Service provider..

Oh.. yeah. You're also right. But I think there's no other method to hide it.
I heared that, typing # or * followed by the destination number to hide the number. But I heared it by on UK user. I donno in which network it works.
Note for Indian(esp. AirTel) users:
Please don't dial * followed by the destination number if you wanna hide Caller ID. Because, it's used to send voicemails.

Ok I think its clear now.. :)
Its a network dependant. If ur provider allow u to make a private call u can simply press #31# followed by destination number..
Thread closed now :)
