nt_virus 22nd July 2007, 22:38 Nice one buddy ! rep+
Saketjune 23rd July 2007, 00:40 It beats netty as well as opera in my opinion. It has copy nd paste function in addition to all oder features of netty nd opera.
damo666 23rd July 2007, 03:00 Excellent browser.Somebody somewhere said that this app requires python to work, but this simply isn't the case.Rep added.Cheers.

Using data compression like Opera Mini but this one is far more stable!! Thanks for this great app!
ijhtio 23rd July 2007, 11:08 agree with you phoezies...this is really cool browser...first of all i was hesitant in using this..as i was happy with opera...but it is little faster than opera ;)
rep++
PHoeZies 23rd July 2007, 11:39 Well imo Opera mini is sligthly faster and data transfer is slightly less than ucweb when images disabled in option.. (1-2kb less)
But the advantage of ucweb is bigger shared memory, so I dont need 2restart browser often!
Havent try the download feature yet.. Does anyone try the download manager? Can it used to DL attachment fm ipmart??
SLAYERASE 23rd July 2007, 13:53 Thanks AVATARA!!
I hope it will be better than Opera Mini!!

I've tried to download attachments from here and other boards(only zipped) and have had no success. When i attempt to download i get a message with feedback of "error 28" or similar.Sis extensions download fine.Imo, mini opera is faster.Nice browser though and uses minimal resources.
shahmiBro 23rd July 2007, 15:24 This app is the same with the opera but i also have difficulty in downloading files with this new browser.
psydkon 23rd July 2007, 17:29 Wow imo it is the best browser 4 s60 v1/v2. You are getting near speeds of opera mini and can download file with it. Only there is some font problem in download box.
Thanks.
pilgrim78 23rd July 2007, 18:11 This is a very good browser, but it is not better than Opera mini russian mod, because UCWEB doesn't have horizontal mode or REAL fullscreen.
PHoeZies 23rd July 2007, 21:46 For evryone having difficulties downloading files
u need 2 highlight the files u want 2 DL, then press left button - tools - download -download from current url.
After tat u need 2 rename the file from "attachment.php" to *.zip or *.rar (depends on highlighted files)
works 4me ;)
ironmike_0 24th July 2007, 06:04 chinamen killed the giants! Nice one buddy!
[Lithium] 24th July 2007, 06:46 Thanks a lot AVATARA. Really good browser. I will try it immediatly. Thanks for share.
+Rep added.
Edit: I did a little benchmarking with opera and i think still opera is the best. I don't like the browser's converting web page to screen of mobile. I want to see original web page not rendering to mobile mod. But it works smothly. Allready Opera 9 mobile coming soon. I am looking forward to releasing of Opera 9.
supoy 24th July 2007, 09:52 nice one... i'll try this

which opera u use to compare bro? opera 8.65 or opera mini v4 or v3 or mini mod 2.04?
coz I think if we compared with v8.65 then UCWEB has data compression advantage..
CMIIW : I think UCWEB is the 1st s60 browser (non java browser) that can use data compression..
SLAYERASE 24th July 2007, 14:07 Hi Everyone,
I dont know why but this Browser is not working for me (N70) Opera Mini works fine but this one at the begining takes a while to startup and says something like Estabilishing network which occasionally fails and I set the access point appropriately too.

good_dud 24th July 2007, 15:07 how to use proxy setting with this?

Ya, even i am getting this sort of thing.. it starts checking for the network and then says initialization failed.. and there is one button "Yes" \.. When i click this i get the browser... I try surfing it says connecting and then fails..
umasankar 24th July 2007, 20:01 Same story from here.. Using n70 n very enthusiastically downloaded n trying to connect. It says initialising failed even without asking access point. Some body help..

I Compared it with Opera 8.65 phozeies. But I didn't compared it for data compression. Because I am sharing mycomputer's ADSL to my phone so I need a fast connection and I want to see Web page in original form. Data compression is not important for me in this case. But when using GPRS it may be usefull and cheaper than other browser. Also it contains a lot of bugs. Lets wait for an updating version with fixed bugs.
max999 25th July 2007, 02:31 :( Same problem as Post no 25, 28 & 29...
Please can someone do nething about this???
[Lithium] 25th July 2007, 03:31 Hey guys u to all who couldn't set to work this browser. The browser coming with the default settings. And in this settings access point as default "None" so u can not connect with it.
First it will try to initalizing network but it fails because of access point. Then you will press the yes and go on. After that open from Menu-Settings-System settings. Than choose Network. Finally you have to set your access points which u use. The options- Save settings.
It is the all you need to do. It wiil connect the server and register this product after saving settings and reopen this.
Hope to help u.

Tried everything & so many times....
It could be that to get thru that initialisation of the network & registering u require a faster mobile internet connection....EDGE or something thats speedy.
umasankar 26th July 2007, 06:25 Normally trying on wap. But now tried to initialise with edge.. But the problem still persists. Wanna use this promising browser soon..
