Nfo is different from a txt file .... in nfo we can add ascii characters ...

hey zeatwork dont take it otherwise buddy by i am inclined to point out that the nfo doesnt have colors.. secondly 'wordrap' option in most text viewers will ruin the looks of your nfo considerably. try going for a smaller nfo rather.

place the cursor on a .nfo file and push right click on mouse and click "open with" and "choose program..," and pick notepad or wordwrap

i loves to see that all of our works here are great..and it only tells that all IPMART-FORUM members are SUPERB...:iphonepost:

I see alot those nfo's that have been made with thedraw with it fonts or some ascii generators,
i dont give much respect for those, sorry.
But here comes my hand made nfo.
Havent done anything ever for competition in my ansi/ascii history (1992-2007) but lets see how it goes ;)

Just as note: Real ascii artist makes logo+layout in day or two, not 5-10 / day!
Also generated ascii's might look cool but those are just ascii's not REAL ascii ART!

As alot guys does not know how nfo's should be viewed, here comes tip:
Use example DAMN NFO VIEWER (2.10 rc3 included as attachment).
Nfo's should be 80 character broad cause it was originaly made to view in DOS or other similiar OS's with screen resolution 80x25/80x43 characters.
Some nfo rules are still valid these days, even there is better OS's than DOS or other similiar ones and you could view larger (more broad) nfo's.

Check picture for good settings, for DAMN NFO VIEWER.
With correct built-in font and good colors (white text, gray, almost black background) your nfo files looks and feels better than in some notepad. :P

right you are xamub.. especially about the 80 characters width..
also damn nfo viewer is by default in my ubuntu..

but i think we should make nfo's considering in mind viewers that use notepad to view them.. :supz:
