mate, try to disable your AV for 2 mins, apply the fix or the patch you have and then enable your AV again..

once your programme is cracked then you can do a full virus scan on your PC.

I have got various other links where ppl complain the way you have, but the soln is simple. just give it a try and see if it works ;)

u can use online scanner to remove viruses. there are various available on the web, just search in google. it will definetly resolve ur issue, no need of installing new os or an antivirus. i also have tried that.
